  1. Wow ,really looks nice , Dave .
  2. Nice , love the color .
  3. Everything in my area has shut down , went out to eat with friends last night to a place usually crowded on Friday night , there were 4 tables out of 50 occupied . Looks like we're all going to have more time to model . (silver lining alert)
  4. sad to here of your loss Don , you and yours will be in our prayers , I have no idea how I would suffer if I lost one of mine . You too , Snake .
  5. Again , this is the best build of this kit I've ever seen , outstanding workmanship .
  6. Wow , a Japanese beater . First one I've seen . nice job on the weathering .
  7. I usually staple the box ends to stiffen them up when I open a kit and it's floppy .
  8. Any plans for gas or brake lines and emergency brake cables ?
  9. The first I remember about kit prices , was the Revell Double "parts pack" kits , were $1.25 at the local hobby store in Augusta , Ga. I was 12 , I think they came out in '63 and was bummed because my allowance was only $1 . Model prices are just what they are and we have to decide if it's something we want to do as a hobby . A decision we make every day about everything we purchase . Do I really want to spend this on that ? Looking at all the other venues for our money , it's not that bad , just do what you're comfortable with and enjoy .
  10. Beautiful
  11. Best rendition I've ever seen .
  12. The test I had , was the injected dye (once before , then during) and a tread mill , was on it for about 10 minutes with increasing speed and angle .
  13. Got the results from my stress test and all is well , no blockages and operating normally .
  14. Received a package from a Facebook buy , an original set of headlights/bumper , tail lights and rear bumper for a AMT 65 GTO . Thinking about making a mold and casting them .
  15. Do you have any photos of the body work done to bring this together ?
  16. I've chased parts all over my modeling area at one time or another , found some ? , lost some ? , but now I have an apron , like they used to wear in the grocery store , tacked to my bench , along the bottom edge , and whenever I start a modeling session , I slip the top over my head and it catches 90% of the pieces that decide to leave the area . Saves me from having to crawl around on the floor looking for that one piece that puts a halt to the build . ?
  17. Went to see the vampires this morning , blood screening for my PSA numbers , always fun when they have to hunt a vein and you get stuck multiple times .
  18. Changes look great .
  19. Wow , that's a fantastic job , looks very realistic , love the changes and weathering .
  20. Love it when they look like real race cars !
  21. BA ZINGA ! Wow , nice job , looks the part of a 60s custom .
  22. Well , I lived through my "nuclear" stress test today , thought they were trying to kill me for sure . I've never seen my heartbeat that high ! 145BPM Thought my head was going to explode and my legs were going to fall off , ? but I made it . I'm just not made for that stuff anymore . ?
  23. Nice job on the insert , but the photo I saw , the framing is all on one level , not stacked , and the frame should fit inside the opening almost flush with the roof .
