You can alter Hum 3D files any way you choose. They aren't 3d printable as they are one face, or one layer thick. They also are made of many cad files for parts. This file of their 40 LaSalle is an example and is not fully broken down. I have altered their 57 DeSoto and 55 Dodge to create the following prints. I haven't cleaned up all the support nubs yet as these are test prints. Also be aware that some of the Hum 3D files are not accurate. The 55 Dodge is a good example. This is the file before correction. And after. I ended up having to correct much more than. this. I also changed it from a 4 door Coronet to a Custom Royal Lancer convertible. I myself, wouldn't do what you are considering. Too much money to create a model on an fdm 3d printer.

If the promo is a 54, I can't help you except provide the correct engine. If it's a 55, it's an entirely different story. I am currently working on correcting a very screwed up cad file from Hum 3d. It is a challenge, to say the least. This is where I'm currently at.

The 54 Dodge did not have a poly head engine based on the hemi engine. They didn't start until 55. If the poly engine you remarked is mine, which I'm assuming it is. it's an A block introduced in 56 for the P lymouth. The Ala Kart engine is another screw up. It's totally out of scale. Therefor, I created the correct hemi engine based on the real engine, which is in my avatar.

In order to build this stock, you'll need an A block poly engine. I have them. Message me for further info is interested.

Another one of my 3d projects I've got going on. In this post, I'll give you an example of how I go about creating a 3d print. I have plans for a 55 & 56 Dodge plus 55 Plymouth. The 55 Dodge is on the drawing board as I got a file from Hum 3d. Problem is, it needs some major correcting. A poly head version is also planed. I got lucky and found an engine on a stand at my local salvage yard 3 miles from my house. It was right next to the front door of the office. Went back a few days later with a tape measure, pen and paper. I found this drawing on the net. I had also found this on the net for all 55 engines. It shows dimensions and stats for all 55 engines. Notice how much smaller the Dodge hemi is than the Chrysler. The small dimensions for the Dodge are the ploy head version.

It wasn't so much the record execs selling Pat Boone as it was parts of this country where record resellers wouldn't sell or buyers refused to purchase records made by colored performers. You did exceptionally fine work on detail. Everything was great until you showed under the hood. The problem is the engine.Two things. It's the wrong color. Plymouth engines in 1958 were silver. The 318 poly A block engine valve covers were gold. 2nd thing, it is a combo of the A block and B block. As a request of a member of this forum in circa 1916, I created a correct A block engine for this model and I assume that you weren't aware of these things. The single 4 bbl version exists in my 59 Plymouth convertible. The substitution of a raised block B engine with trans attached is also not accurate, as it could be a 727 trans. The 58 user the old cast iron A-488 trans. Some members of this forum possess my A block version.

It prints faster, the lcd panel lasts longer and it's a Phrozen. Check out the Facebook page. They sell out fast. Photon users are saying that it's prints are better plus being much faster. By buying the Sonic Mini, you are buying into the current technology.

I've had 2 large trees removed from my property in the last 4 years. The first guy always high balls you with $1500. You shop around and then start bargaining. One cost me $400 and the other $350.

To me, the situation relates to this. You vehicle gets hit. The resale value of it goes down. You go through the mess of getting it fixed. Your house gets damaged. Same thing. Insurance companies don't care who's at fault. Make a claim, your rate goes up. My attitude to the problem is to take care of it before it be comes a problem. Nip it in the bud.

Tom, some people just can't see the real problem which is the tree and the danger it represents to you. If it were me, I would meet with your new neighbor and explain your concern to them if you didn't already. Tell them that you could force the issue, but you understand that they were miss lead. At that point, offer to remove the tree with their written permission as a house warming or welcoming to the neighborhood gift. A positive approach will be far more effective than a negative one.

I have been pondering on a way to get the raised letters on the hub caps to show. If you look at my reference pics above, you can barely detect the red lettering on the caps. The letters on my cap are 1 mm in size. I sprayed the cap with a can of brilliant aluminum and used a small sanding stick to bare the letters. The resin is a dark red cherry color. How does it look?

My point is simple. We should be able to afford ourselves the luxury of ad free access and still be able to contribute to the on going access to this forum. The year is 2020. It's time the admin moves to this time period.

Maybe arrogant wasn't the right word. I use an ad blocker which also blocks trackers. These trackers are what determine what ads you see. I changed my internet tv access to a Roku streamer about 2 years ago. Many channels will allow access without ads for a nominal monthly $2 on fee. I would not be adverse to the ability to contribute a small yearly fee of $25 in support of the site.
