  1. That did come out very nice. Colors do not look bad at all together.
  2. Another vote for a big hit Chuck.
  3. Well done Chuck. Down at this corner of the State we all love the Jeep.
  4. Another nice update Bill. Looks nice.
  5. This sure looks nice.
  6. Looks good in White. Most of them I have seen here were Red.
  7. The trade with StockBoresMe went well.
  8. Mark it was said he had Liver Cancer.
  9. I agree but with the bonus trailer they will be worth the 8 bucks at ollies in a years or so. Maybe 10 by then.
  10. As time flies by it is more than likely longer than I think it was. For a few years after the releases were out at the Toledo toy show and the Detroit show. LIke 2 or 3 here and there. The normal stack of newer kits.
  11. I walked by more than one stack of those 59's for an average not that long ago, but the Comets seems to spike not long after the dealers did not have any more on hand. Glad I got one of those.
  12. I agree with the others , looks good and better with glass.
  13. I recall in one of the magazines in the 90's was a picture of a collection box for old spru at a contest. They did mention why it was there but I do not remember the caption.
  14. Great trade with Mike999, Michael Smith nice and smooth.
  15. That makes more sense Wayne, and thanks for the new info.
  16. Bill that limited drive time in the Electric car is what I detest. When Detroit Electric made electric cars in the early 1900's they could go as far as the new electric cars that came out less than 10 years ago. How is this even a break through? I can not get off work on friday jump into a tesla and drive 13 hours to your house straight through and go to the local Model Show with you if this becomes the norm. I can do it now in my F150 and went all the way to Daytona in a 1966 Cadillac Hearse back in 1988. That caddy had a 16 gallon tank or less, what a pain. It was a pain but just had to refill more often, not a 3 to 4 hour recharge wait though.
  17. We were all going to be in hovercrafts or flying cars by 2000.HHHHHHHHHHHHMMMMMMM So what happens when you want to go on vacation that is a 12 hour drive into the outskirts of Ontario and go fishing for the week and find the batteries dead?
  18. As I was told by a tractor puller one time, it is all about the r&d that makes people choose the engines they use. So much money was put into the Hemi but it was for drag racing two different animals when talking about engine life on a track that has to last more than 2 minutes running from start to finish with most of that time not a full throttle. Reading an interview from Connie Colletta he said the same thing about the S.O.H.C. 427 with drag racing. It was designed for N.A.S.C.A.R. not N.R.A. Wayne not all big block Chevy's are aluminum in fact very few from the factory were. Aluminum heads was an option though. I am by no means an expert on this just from what I have read and talked to the people that have and run this stuff.
  19. Joca I like what you are doing with this. Hot Rod this this benz up. Good idea with the last photo. Also welcome and keep building no matter how long it takes.
  20. This is nice.
  21. Wow this is great. Hands down one the best Studebaker models I have seen built.
  22. Chris if you look at the threads it the drag racing section you will pick up tips along the way. Take some time and read through them and look in the tips and how to sections also. Good luck and keep plugging along. They all don't look like a million bucks every time. Start slow and add as you get better.
  23. Like all the rest posting I like it.
