  1. The one exception I do believe is the 62 Ford truck that had the go cart as a complete kit inside of it. The one that had the cover on it for the land speed go cart.
  2. I had the same problem here a few years ago. The bad part was it happened on thanksgiving weekend. The guy was awesome and came out to help me out. They are trying to get new regulations on what can be called flush-able here now.
  3. Awesome pictures. Nothing beats a proud parent.
  4. The kit was released in 2003 as the American Graffti car. The Directory does not show any release earlier than that. It is a 1/25 scale and the Monogram is 1/24 scale released in 1982.
  5. I see a picture of an engine.
  6. I have been kicking myself for not making a wish list before they closed. After reading this I am no longer upset over it. They have enough to do.
  7. Looks better now.
  8. This is good to see as many people are looking for these.
  9. Russ it does seem to have slowed down again. The cable guy was here today and redid some connections. I will say the site runs faster for me if I pause AdBlock. Not a problem to pause it though.
  10. What if you put some shrink tube over the ends to help with this? Maybe even grind the sharp ends down first?
  11. I need to watch this one. My grandfather worked at the Toledo Willys plant during the war. One of the things regret is never asking more questions about that time when he was still with us.
  12. Alan That is some haul you picked up.
  13. 50
  14. This is still looking good David.
  15. It would be fine for this. Many people still use 1/2 ton trucks to tow the race car.
  16. This is cool, I like it.
  17. Steve I think I have seen at least one of these at the NNL Nationals. Another in one of the contest issues. Maybe the same truck. They used one of the Car Hauler beds.
  18. To be honest we have all had brain fads behind the wheel. 2, 4 or what ever you have under your booty. Makes no difference when you make a mistake. Hopefully when it happens no one gets hurt or worse.
  19. Looks good.
  20. that is cool. I like to get the old paint, glue and filler tubes like that. Did the kit still have the small piece of carpet in the box?
  21. It all come down to time and money for the quality of the parts being made. The Resin casting changed the way that old models with missing parts have been treated by builders and collectors. The web and EBAY have changed the way people can and do enjoy the Hobby. I think it will have a big positive impact but have no idea how long it will take because of the cost and time frame.
  22. Welcome back
