  1. That I don't know..I've only had the Lindberg molded in red version, never seen the older AMT versions.
  2. Sharp...love the green. I have a glue bomb MPC '68 convertible in my to-restore stash.
  3. Stock '64 Corvette wheel covers (which these look like) have the tri-bar spinners. IIRC that is what was included w/ the AMT '64 annual (don't have mine convenient to check).
  4. Resin is bought from the old site. http://www.mcwautomotivefinishes.com/resin/resinlist.html
  5. My sister's '06 Cadillac has started having an issue recently w/ the heater..the defroster still works, but nothing blows out the dash or floor vents. But the seat heater still works...good thing it hasn't been too cold lately. She's been commuting in it lately since her Equinox has been in the dealer body shop the last month after getting hit in the rear at a light.
  6. Saw a solid 63-64 Rambler Classic 4dr in a driveway. Black w flames painted on the hood and front fenders, looked driven since I hadn’t seen it before on this road I frequent.
  7. Yes. Little things like changing headlight bulbs is a non trivial task on many modern vehicles like my '14 Jeep.
  8. Those would work. Another option is the chromed ones from the recent Revell '69 Nova or '69 Camaro COPO kits.
  9. I've rented trucks and box vans from UHaul when I had to move stuff. The last mattress I bought came in a box via Fed Ex...memory foam, it expanded into it's shape after removing from the box.
  10. I remember my Dad replacing the heater core on a couple of older cars back in the 80s--a '68 Cougar and a '69 Mustang. Mostly involved removing the glove box...way simpler on older cars than newer cars I would think. Never had to deal with it on a modern car...the A/C and heater still worked on my '00 Jeep at 170k when I traded it. I remember my Mom's Explorer had an issue w/ heater blend door, got that fixed at the dealer back around 2005.
  11. Sometimes after clicking 'Unread Content', scrolling to the bottom and clicking 'Load More Content' I get an error like this. I also see the malformed page content (where it looks 1990s html style of a table of blue links on a white background) occasionally, but refreshing the page clears that up.
  12. I've seen pics of '68 Chevelles with those wheels, so who knows. It is nice they included 2 sets of wheels. Maybe one of the resin casters will do a set of the '68 SS wheel covers.
  13. I haven't compared them closely with the previous versions, but there are a few parts different in each....wheels, some other details.
  14. Kind of looks like a Heller Citroen C4 truck. https://www.scalemates.com/kits/heller-703-citroen-c4-waterman--169559
  15. I know people that have done it, but I’d still rather buy local..
  16. I might build a model of the B style. I really have no interest in one in 1:1, too old for my interests.
  17. Seems pretty stupid for someone living in Virginia to buy a car sight unseen from a dealer in Arkansas...I couldn't imagine buying a vehicle remotely like that, regardless of price.
  18. The weather the last couple of days in Cleveland has been most unseasonable..in a good way. Close to 50 and sunny. A year ago it this time it was zero or below IIRC..
  19. I like the 2nd one, the modern wheels and tires look good IMO.
  20. Never seen one of the original Chevy vans, but the way they did the side windows with panel inserts seems cheesy. Never seen one built up, would assume there would be seams to be filled?
  21. That's a typo on the box art. The kit has a 318/360 V8. The Volare was long before there was any Mopar V6.
  22. Airfix is still around https://www.airfix.com/us-en/shop/vehicles/cars.html. Seem to be still doing 1/32nd scale kits. Maserati is still around also, part of FCA.
  23. My last 2018 HLJ shipment came today.
  24. Beautiful build..I love the '67-68 Cougars.
  25. That's a cool IRS setup..interesting to see the inboard disk brakes..never seen them like that.
