  1. Mail call today... looks good at first glance through the box.
  2. I remember them...got a number of resin kits from them about 10-15 years ago...
  3. That is one I’d love to see, kind of an overlooked muscle car. Who made the resin one, never seen one?
  4. My '14 Jeep Grand Cherokee (3.6 V6, 4x4) hit 78k miles today. Washed it yesterday, looks pretty good for 10 years old. Had my '87 Mustang GT out yesterday, it has 65k miles. 5.0 and a 5 speed. Also have my late father's '69 Mustang currently under restoration. Looking to buy another car in the next couple months, maybe a late model Cadillac CT6 or CT5...a comfy sedan for road trips.
  5. I'd love a '67/68 Cougar clone. The MPC '70 Cougar ht and convertible or '70/71 Mercury Cyclone would be great... For something all-new and never done before, I'd love to see a '68-69 Mercury Cyclone. Never kitted, and never seen in the resin and 3D print world...not going to happen, but would be nice.
  6. Speaking of non-SS Chevelles, I had not heard of the Malibu 400, googled and turned up pics of a convertible w/ the strip speedo, column shift automatic, bench seat, and factory stripes. Wild...
  7. That would be nice. I thought cutting the speedometer area out of a ‘70 Impala dash and fitting it in. I think any non ‘70 SS Chevelle would have the strip speedometer? The round gauges were an SS thing, I think.
  8. Those base Chevelle/Malibu parts would be nice to have...all the kits of the '70 have been SSes, would like to do a couple as base 6 cyl or small block Chevelles.
  9. Unusually nice sunny Saturday for February in NE Ohio, took my 5.0 out for a drive on some great winding two lane roads nearby.
  10. This is the AMT Fruehauf reefer trailer, the Great Dane reefer was an ERTL tool... It's been a long time since this one was last out I think.
  11. Hard to tell without badges. Maybe a Suzuki Alto.
  12. Neat..never seen that video. There is a 3D printed '68 Galaxie 4dr like the car in the video, there is one on eBay now... https://www.ebay.com/itm/256134015225?hash=item3ba2c6e8f9:g:3H0AAOSwafdkqCkL
  13. That I remembered...my Dad loved that movie, I watched it with him several times 30-40 years ago..
  14. Hickman was also in Patton as Patton's Jeep driver.
  15. Hickman is also known for being the driver of the Charger in Bullitt.
  16. Oh, yeah French Connection and Seven-Ups are good crime and car chase movies. Saw them first as a teenager in the 80s. If they aren't too grainy they would probably look good on my modern 65 inch HDTV. Have to watch them again, probably been 20 years since I've seen either...
  17. My 3 from Model Roundup just came.
  18. Got my 3 Demons from Model Roundup today.
  19. Great movie..didn't realize it was based on a book. The sequel was good also...Gene Hackman was always one of my favorite movie tough guys.
  20. It's kind of limiting to be stuck to those old time definitions...1948 is over 75 years ago. I get it, the diesel Tesla is an example of modern 'hot rodding', i.e. modifying a car in a non-stock manner. A while back, I watched a good series of YouTube videos from Rich Rebuilds where they put an LS into a Tesla Model S... a lot of work and fabrication went into it... the results were interesting.
  21. When I had Ring cameras, I usually got about 6 weeks to a charge out of them. You can adjust the zones for motion detection and the sensitivity to get longer battery life. At my new house I have 2 of the Google Nest wired door bells and six Nest battery cameras, I'm getting about 6 weeks out of them also. But the Nest cameras are a newer generation than the Ring cameras I had and have much clearer images.
  22. IIRC, the ‘79 kit had the redesigned dash like the 1:1 had. I built the ‘78 & ‘79 kits as a kid back in the day.
  23. It’s a replica of the movie car, which was a base Mach 1. The kit is exactly as expected. Maybe down the road they will do a loaded Ram Air Mach 1.
  24. Just got an email from Model Roundup that my 3 preorders have shipped. Woo-hoo!
  25. Got these two built kits from the same seller on eBay. Both restorable and complete (the Vega is missing the steering wheel)—AMT ‘72 Monte Carlo and MPC ‘71 Vega.
