    It seems to me kind of a Renaissance Faire soap opera w/ dragons...a bunch of my friends are really into it, but I tried watching a few times but couldn't get into it.. I.prefer dramas set in the modern era, I guess...of current shows, I like Ray Donovan, Better Call Saul, Bosch and British and Scandinavian crime fiction..

    IIRC I read somewhere the custom was reworked by Foose some years after it was built...the original is the FM purple one (it was a Boyd Coddington custom?)

    It was announced as a 1st quarter release, but in usual Revell fashion it is delayed...some vendor sites show it as a June-July release...

    You can make whatever changes you want...what they mean is the kit can be built out of the box one way only, as a custom, as was previously announced.

    A couple times I've had items from Tucson, AZ get routed through places in the LA area before being delivered to Phoenix via USPS. Another foul up I've had occur multiple times w/ the USPS and UPS is mail and packages left at another house that has two digits transposed from mine (like 5365 instead of 5635) on the same street..

    Maybe...but I'm sure there are other drag racers that drove '69 Chargers. Or they could do a stock car version.

    I've wanted one for 30 years...I have resin '71 and '72 kits and a bunch of die cast in smaller and larger scales, but would love a 1/25th scale kit of one..one of my favorite '70s cars.

    Got this yesterday, replaced my old one. Would love to find one in scale..I have the Maisto 2011, but that's the pre-facelift version.

    That pic of the '00 was taken last Saturday..the good side. The left rear had a good sized dent by the fuel door. It was still running pretty well, but had a number of old age issues...and with the move to Ohio, I wanted something newer before driving cross country.

    Retired my '00 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4 today, been a mostly reliable daily driver for over 170k and almost 17 years. Replaced with a very clean '14 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4x4, 25,000 miles, loaded w/ all the goodies.

    I learned to drive in a manual and drove pretty much only manuals my first ~14 years of driving. But there is so little available w/ them now...mostly sports/sporty cars and low trim level econoboxes......for daily drivers I've only had automatics since 2000, and my next purchase will be an automatic also. I still enjoy a fun drive in a manual now and then, but for the real-world grind prefer an automatic.

    The kit was originally the '61 Ranchero, a curbside. At some point in the distant past, it was modified to have an open hood and for inexplicable reasons, a BBC. All subsequent issues as the '61 then the recent '60 have had that engine.

    I would assume a 2nd version of the Comet is up next....maybe a drag car. Though I'd like to see a 2dr sedan version, like they did w/ the Satellite and Belvedere releases.
