  1. Also need: Someone to comment that the plural of "URL" is URLs, not URL's.
  2. Very simple explanation. It's a reissue of the Monogram kit. That's all.
  3. Beautiful build.
  4. Got a bunch of goodies in the mail yesterday.. Motor City Resin '71 Ford Mustang coupe transkit, some Missing Link resin parts (Demon interior, Dodge and Plymouth dog dish hubcaps), some Modelhaus whitewall tires, a 2nd Revell '50 Olds, a 1:24th scale Welly diecast '11 Dodge Charger R/T, Scenes Unlimited steelies and wheelbacks...
  5. There were some neat 1:24th scale plastic pre-assembled Top Kicks w/ various utility bodies made back around 2000 IIRC. I used to see them at my LHS back then.
  6. Some kind of blind faith, I guess. I've ordered successfully from Perry's website, but that was about 10 years ago..
  7. They resemble the drag wheels w/ the '77/78 Trans Am, but are those Centerlines?
  8. R&R casts a resin version of the AMT '68 XL 2dr fastback annual IIRC...no one has done a '68 LTD formal roof 2dr yet that I know of...
  9. The Modelhaus makes a very nice '72 LTD Brougham 2dr.
  10. Neat project..the photos give me some ideas of possibilities for my '72 Cuda kit..
  11. The AMT '71 Duster interior seems like a good starting point. I have the Scale Coachworks '70 Dart and Bandit Resins Scamp in my to-build resin stash...
  12. It's very nice..got mine a few months ago...going to use a 428 from a '66 Galaxie w/ Modelhaus '70 LTD hubcaps and whitewall tires. It will go nicely w/ my ML '71 Galaxie and '78 LTD, and Modelhaus '72 Custom and LTD. Love the big Fords of that era...
  13. The 4dr Corvette idea got me thinking about what a 4dr version of today's Corvette could be like....sort of a Panamera-like car.
  14. Well, you figure about $100 for the Modelhaus resin kit...plus the hours of labor to build and paint it... not bad when you consider the time that went into it. I'm not sure how I'm going to paint mine, but definitely something like this in early '70s colors..
  15. Picked up the AMT '69 Hurst Olds reissue at the LHS..love the tires and the retro box art.
  16. True, the '69 Cutlass was one of the last new MPC kits tooled, along w/ the '88 Beretta and Silverado. I remember the '88 kits quite well. AMT did rebox some Johan kits in the late '60s-early 70s, I'm not sure if they reboxed the Johan '69 Cutlass back then.
  17. Any one have any pics of what's in the box of the H/O reissue?
  18. The latest Road & Track magazine came yesterday w/ a good article on him. I want to see that documentary.
  19. Sounds like the Monogram Corvette America...wish they would reissue that..would like to have that kit.
  20. Hmmm...novel idea, actually finishing builds. When I have finished builds, some of them went into a display case, otherwise back in the their box and into the closet and eventually to storage. That's why I always keep the boxes.
