Neat idea..never seen a race on dirt. Kind of retro, like the early days of NASCAR. I'd also love to see Sprint Cup add another road course race..at the new Circuit of the Americas track...
Used to be a bunch of Riders Hobby Shops in Michigan, apparently. When I lived in Ann Arbor in the mid '90s I went to the Riders downtown and the one in Ypsilanti pretty often.
Some sweet builds there...I esp. like the double wing Gold Leaf Lotus (1969?). I have a couple 1:12th F1 kits in my stash and a bunch of 1:20th (along w/ some Exoto 1:18th diecast and various 1:43rd ones)
An interesting variation would be one like this...Ford built the '67-72 Ford F series w/ some updates like the grille below until around 1990 in Brazil.
I don't get the 'broken axle' look...seems like it would wear the inside edges of the tires abnormally. If it doesn't improve handling, I don't see the point.
Hmmm... 'Image URL for use on other sites' doesn't show up as an option under share w/ your pic. Maybe that is a feature available only w/ the paid version.
Never had the rescue van kit, but from pics I've seen, it had a number of parts different from the later custom van issues. Hopefully some of those parts will be restored w/ this issue.
