  1. Sweet...looking forward to seeing how this turns out.
  2. I got my first one last week at the LHS, ordered another one yesterday along w/ another 150 from my usual online kit vendor. Here's some inspiration for a street machine build--on Autoblog today. 57 Sleeper
  3. I'd expect Fujimi to do a 458 before Tamiya...Tamiya hasn't done a new Ferrari in a long time, Fujimi has been putting out a lot of Ferrari kits in recent years..
  4. The 'Sod Buster' is the '81 Chevy 1:25th scale annual. I'm pretty sure I have that one in my stash. IIRC, I have all the MPC '78 or 79 and up stock Chevy and GMC truck kits.
  5. Stopped by my LHS this afternoon and picked up the new Revell '57 Bel Air 2dr sedan 2n1 and the reissue '60 Impala 2n1...both cool kits. Great way they packaged the parts in the '57--4 separate chrome trees.
  6. April is what I've heard.
  7. This is a kit that w/ some patience, can build up quite nicely..I've built 2, and got the top working well. I'll never forget when I got my first one in '88, opened the box, thought they had not included the body at first..never had built a multi-piece body like that before...
  8. Round 2 hasn't included more optional parts from the original issue, have they? There were some optional parts in the '80s issue (the one molded in orange that said 'GTX' on the box...a front air dam and Superbird rear wing, IIRC. The box art I've seen for the original '74 showed parts for a Baja racer version. IIRC, my '80s issue has the Road Runner scripts and birdies molded on the body, but the reissue from around 2004 doesn't have them. The '73-74 Road Runners and Chargers are the only original MPC Road Runners and Chargers of that era I don't have..I have the the original '71 GTX kit (some of my favorite box art ever), the '71 and '72 Road Runners, and the '71 and '72 Chargers.
  9. A couple OLDs have it listed as an April release.
  10. Sweet build. Very nice to see a buildup of a kit I'd heard was 'unbuildable'.
  11. Got my 2nd and 3rd Revell '72 Cutlasses in the mail yesterday, and a resin '68 Coronet R/T twin-scoop hood to use on one of my MPC '68 restos eventually.
  12. +1 Very tasty...I've had it a few times, a friend from Regina makes it occasionally.
  13. I remember those..my Mom had an '80 (after a '77)...traded it on an '85, then an '89. My folks had a series of Town Cars, T-Birds, and Mustangs when I was growing up.
  14. What scale is it?
  15. The Revell AG site makes no mention of '10 releases as far as I can see, so I assume Gasman's source for this information is somewhere else.
  16. Looking forward to the 458 Italia. The A4 DTM race cars will be nice also..
  17. They seem to..though on IE, the toolbar w/ the buttons appears at the bottom of the text area, while in FF and Chrome it's at the top.
  18. "Works on my machine" (programmer humour for checking bugs). I tested w/ IE 8, Firefox, and Chrome on a few different machines. I like the Tech skin. Rdf
  19. I like the Tech one so far. Nice selection of colors. Looks crisp.
  20. Someone on the one of the forums showed one they had made a couple years ago, don't know if they ever casted it. It would be a nice part to have, to fill the gap between the '72 Demon (I have one of those in resin) and the '75-76 kits.
  21. On IE 8, there is a '?' symbol in the main toolbar, top right. On the drop down associated w/ it, there is 'About Internet Explorer' at the bottom. Not sure what it looks like w/ older versions of IE.
  22. I didn't realize anyone was still using AOL..
  23. For Revell and Lindberg-- Evers Toy Store (www.everstoystore.com)...bought dozens of kits from them for over a decade. Great customer service. For AMT (Round2, Stevens, recent OOP) and Revell, Model Express (www.modelexpress.net). For import, Hobby Link Japan (www.hlj.com). Been buying from them since about 2000. These are 3 I use the most, there are others like Hobbylinc that I've used occasionally. And of course, eBay for old kits, and occasionally newer kits I can't find elsewhere.
  24. Isn't that great of him? Customer service on weekends..
  25. Maybe 'uppwe' is a regional slang spelling of 'upper'. As in upper left
