I'm off through Jan 2nd. 3 company holidays and PTO. Time to rest. But it's 1F and blowing snow outside today. Think I'm going to take a morning nap and an afternoon nap today.

'95 was when the C/K dash was redesigned and they got the driver's side airbag. The original '96 dooley snap kit has that interior. -
1985.

Amt 64 Cutlass chassis options?
Rob Hall replied to br67's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
The 1:1 wheelbase is 3 inches shorter (112 vs 115) on the '68-72 coupes, so the '64-67 choices probably would be best... -
One is the loneliest number.

Cell phone cameras...what do you use & why?
Rob Hall replied to thatz4u's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
I use an iPhone SE (2020 version). It takes great pics and I like the small size of the phone. Downsize is the battery life is poor (as has had every iPhone I've had going back to 2008). Probably will upgrade to an iPhone 14 next year, but I really don't like the larger sized phones. -
I find myself watching CC with all UK TV and some American shows. I occasionally watch Scandinavian, French, German shows, so I use CC for them also.

And if owned by multiple airbags, it would be "airbags' ". Not "airbag's' " .

What did you see on the road today?
Rob Hall replied to Harry P.'s topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Saw a couple sharp older trucks in parking lots this afternoon. A very clean ‘92-96 Ford F150 XLT regular cab long bed in an unusual two tone—like an orange with tan insert down the side. Looked like original paint. Later saw a clean mid 90s teal GMC Yukon 2dr w/ 6.5 turbo diesel decals. Don’t recall ever seeing a 2dr GM diesel SUV. -

It's a pretty area in rural Ohio, 2 ponds on the property, 1859 house and huge 1884 barn and two detached garages. My folks bought it in 1968, I lived there as a kid. -
Looking forward to these GMT-400s...I built a few of the original issues back in the day ('88 annual, '90 Sportside, the SS454, the 1500 stock snap and 3500 snap kit), never had the custom dooley version. Given how popular the OBS is in 1:1 these days, hopefully we will see a variety of aftermarket parts...a GMC conversion and cowl hood would be neat.

What did you see on the road today?

The 2 lane road comes down a long hill, with a short flat section then a small bridge that’s like a hump then another flat section that my driveway went off, with a row of trees parallel to it. Apparently they came down the hill too fast, crested the bridge and went airborne off the road into the trees… (bridge in center of pic, my driveway on the left, trees on the left..). This pic is from last summer, near the base of the hill… I learned to drive on these roads, hadn’t lived there since the early 90s. Sold the property last July after my brother (who was living there) passed in February....130 acres. -

^ could have been worse... back around 2005, a Cavalier w/ 4 teenagers went off the road and crashed into some trees along the driveway of my family farm...police estimated they were going close to 100 mph.. -

It was the green '93 that had it, the dooley did not. -

Actually, I think there haven't been any releases of the full detail kits in over 30 years except for the modified Monster Truck versions, and the snap kits haven't been available in 25 years or more... -
Ah, I was thinking of the one with the long tubes. Didn’t realize this style intake was also called the cross ram.
-
..and AMT always made things confusing by sometimes rebranding MPC kits as an AMT. Like the last issue of the '82 Bronco, was boxed as an AMT and said '81.
-
The AMT is a '78. Different generation than the MPC '80-82. The AMT '78 came w/ the Cougar Funny Car kit...the Hobby Exclusive kit was the MPC '82 (though the box art inexplicably said AMT and '81).
-
The '78 is an AMT kit. The '80-82 was MPC.

Cross ram was a 413 thing, wasn't it? Don't think I've seen one on a Hemi.
