  1. I have the most recent reissue of the pickup/woody and it definitely has is a 4dr body. Wondering what's up w/ the Coke version...fanciful art work, or new parts?
  2. Never had that kit, but have to get it for my older sister..she's a huge fan of the Monkees...
  3. Got two in the mail today...one has a mashed box--body fine, the other box fine, but the a-pillars slightly bent. Argghh..
  4. The Star Trek shuttlecraft w/ figures looks fun. The '29 woody/pickup Coca-Cola variant is curious..the regular release I have has a 4dr woodie body, but this looks like a 2dr woody body w/ solid panels in place of the windows..
  5. That was a random photo off the internet. I think it's a '79-80, because '79 was when they introduced the square headlight grille but it still has the old style roof w/ the overhang (which the Revell kit does not have). The Revell kit appears to be a mix of model years--81 and newer body w/ a '79-80 grille.
  6. 'kit grill' meant the part in the kit. The square headlights are correct for an early 80s Honcho.
  7. After 5 1/2 years of ownership, I did make one small exterior modification to my Jeep--got a set of Westin 4" step rails installed. Turned out nice.
  8. There was also a light blue one briefly at the end of 'Bullet Train', driven by Sandra Bullock's character.
  9. The two-piece Asian market style ones are good. The soft one-piece RoG ones are no bueno.
  10. That is quite the Oldsmobeast.
  11. Iceman Collections and Texas 3D Customs both sell nice resin Hellcat engines.
  12. Lately, I have not driven a Ford, though I do own three older ones.
  13. Went and wandered the gardens of Stan Hywet Hall in Akron today. Saw this neat Model A planter and a minty ‘80s F350 dump truck.
  14. Henry (16) and Beardsley (10) enjoying the sun on the patio this morning.
  15. Nah, probably doesn't matter.. though since it is late 2022 now, maybe labeling it as a '22 instead of a '21 would have been better...
  16. I think it could represent an R/T from 2015 to 2023, no major visible differences these years beyond the wheels, maybe? Hopefully, more variants will come like a wide body or Hellcat..
  17. Started with a variety of Lindberg and Revell snap kits from 1976 when I was 5-6....my first glue kit was the Revell 'Bad Dream' '56 Chevy when I was 7 in 1977 (got for my birthday in June), followed by the JoHan '60 Plymouth wagon and AMT 1/43rd Peterbilt truck w/ trailer in Dannon Yogurt livery in the fall of '77, then 3 of the AMT 'Countdown Series' kit for xmas '77--the '69 Galaxie XL, '69 Riviera, and '66 Mustang. Still have all of them, some in original glue bomb condition, some in pieces..
  18. I'll have to watch that one again...haven't seen it in probably 20 years...haven't seen the sequel in probably 30.
  19. I heard an ad for something a while back that said something to the effect that '..if you experience any of these side effects including death, please contact your physician.."
  20. The French Connection?
  21. OBS= 'Old Body Style'....nickname for the '88-98 Chevy/GMC pickup (the GMT-400 generation).
  22. Never been a traditional kit...but there have been resin kits (Modelhaus had one) and diecast in a variety of scales.
  23. Always liked these. When I lived in Colorado in the 90s-00s had several friends and coworkers with them. Saw a lot of them on the trails and roads of Colorado. Looked at buying one in ‘00 but went for the larger Grand Cherokee…
  24. When I lived in Colorado Springs 20+ years ago, I remember driving on Kelly Johnson Boulevard that was named after him..it is close to the US Air Force Academy.
  25. I like the new interior from the pics, esp. with the red seat trim.
