  7. Ouch! Looks like you should be able to accomplish your plan of touching up that panel. Sand it down, tape it off and respray. No one will be the wiser. I hope mine doesn't do that once I get to foiling. Later-
  8. Wow! I like this. Opening up the windows gives this kit a whole new look. Now I wish I hadn't gotten rid of the one I had. Later-
  9. That looks good. Nice work on saving it. Later-

Very nice looking work! Any issues you had don't seem to show. The trip color paint turned out great. Like others have said, it's nice to see something different on occasion. I have a resin 56 DeSoto to do soon. It has no inner door panels, dash or seats so I am looking for some Chrysler 55 or 56 interior parts as a close fit. Later-
  12. Very nicely done! Looks great. It seems to have held up well for that old of a build. You've take great care of it. Later-
  13. That is an amazing job you did. The paint looks perfect and the the hard work you put in to it shows. Congrats! Later-
  14. Tonight's progress. Got the distributor wires ran through the PE looms and glued in place, the coil glued and wired (still need some yellow paint for the top), the fuel line ran, the anti-backfire muffler installed and half of it plumbed. http:// http:// http:// That's enough to make my eyes bug out. Time for bed. Later-
  15. Well, this took a bit to dig back and find. I have been energized lately to work on the engine for this build. I have been collecting wire and rod of different sizes to follow the info as closely as possible. The Tim Boyd two-part article is very helpful. My wife and I celebrated our 30th anniversary on Saturday so I took Friday and today off of work. We went out of town for the night on Friday and came back Saturday. So I have been plugging away at the engine off and on during this weekend. Made quite a bit of progress but have A LONG way to go. Here is today's progress so far. http:// http:// Got the distributor in place and the anti backfire muffler on (just to the right of the left valve cover). http:// http:// Well, enough of the chit-chat. Time to get back at it. Later-
  16. Goofing off tonight and made a set of working struts for the tonneau cover of an upcoming 55 Cameo project. http:// http:// Used aluminum tubing, brass tubing and carbon fiber wire. The CF wire is much stiffer than regular wire so it should hold any weight without flexing. Later-
  17. That looks really nice! I have been thinking about how I want to build mine. I was thinking something similar to the Zocchi version. Later-
  18. Mike!!! Good to see you posting on here, Buddy. Bongos is looking good. Later-
  19. That is going to be a beautiful color for that car. I look forward to seeing the outcome. Monte- Nice looking build you have there too. Later-
  20. That is an amazing job you are doing, especially considering the space limitations that you appear to have. I can't wait to see how this turns out. Later-
  21. Very nice looking, clean build. I like the look very much. Later-
