  1. I'm ramping back up on completing this long standing TR4A build andmost all stalling points have been overcome with 3D Printing and Molotow Chrome. I have one part I that can't locate anything similar or a pen end I could fabricate one from. It is very cone-like and seems there has to be some craft piece of tube cap I could find to use. The best part is I only need a driver side mirror! I'm just throwing this out to see if anyone recollects a similar mirror. Any help will be appreciated, no matter how silly. Here's what I need ...
  2. This almost makes you want to go out and buy one, well, almost. Very nice job!
  3. A wonderful little diorama ... weathering and finishes are top notch .. all is so believable.
  4. I gravitate toward something that I built as a kid or a car I owned. The rarer it is, the more glue I accept. Others might have a good body panel to replace a melted panel on another.
  5. A new-old Hippy Van .. I like your treatment on the outside.

Those are beautiful .. razor edges on everything!
  7. Simple but wonderful diorama .. and this shot .. that angle .. superb!
  8. Well, I like it! That color just seems made for it ..
  9. That's a beautiful build, but were you tempted to put NH plates on it?
  10. These aren't available but I believe are excellent steel wheels. They were made and cast by Ryan Silva here in Massachusetts. Ryan stopped casting wheels as far as I know. These were exact replicas of the 16" 8-lug GMC wheels on a model of my daughter's van.
  11. That's Jewelry .. amazing work!
  12. I haven't found any product or paint, all brands of flat and types (enamel etc.) that has satisfied me. I use an India Ink wash of about 10 or 20% that does the job for me. I do tend to be heavy with it so this really stands out. I'm pretty sure I used water to dilute, possibly some flow adjuster or soap. I have one of many bottles I mixed and tried and the one that works stays in front but, of course. never wrote down the exact formula. It's a generous bottle so will last me quite awhile.
  13. The stance is to kill for!
  14. I still have a shop 15 min. away so I try to give him all the business. He has about all my basic scratch building needs and supplies. I'll go online for anything I can't get locally in the mountains here.
  15. I like that the unchopped top accentuates the sectioning on this car. Just the sectioning makes it a completely different car.
  16. Beautifully done, great color!
  17. The engine has a good look in the car. I had a factory green '69 that was close to your color ... all looking good!
  18. That's cool .. even mascara running in that stream
  19. I think that's how I'll repair it in the end. I used to draw a mean line with paint, my Dad always made me do the window trim on the house. My hand isn't as steady any more, thou erheh
  20. That black trim looks razor sharp .. nice job masking! I just had a masking trim nightmare on a '92 Crown Vic that I refused to even take a photo of ...
