The reason I switched from planes, ships and armor to cars WAS the MODERN AMT ONE PIECE bodies! I looked at the multi-piece Revells and though they were dumb, undo-able anyway if you wanted a finish without big gaps in the paint.

Welcome to the forum, Harry. I did my Army tour in Neckarsulm and loved being in Germany. I was going to take my discharge there if not for a Medical condition that sent me back to the States. I had a '54 VW that let me enjoy to most out of my stay there. The link is to a model of it.

I love to see a little whiteness down south ... looked like it was even south of Houston! Here in the Berkshires there hasn't been a flake, but the snow tires went on the GTI today!

My workshop in in the basement where out cat has full access ... we keep the door unlatched and he knows how to open it for his patrol. I was cautious at first but he never jumped up on the bench at all. If we're both down there, he never jumps up on lap or table. Maybe it's just that things stay pretty constant down there and nothing looks new. I've never seen anything displaced (from his lone excursions) and expect he doesn't jump up when I'm not there. Pretty extraordinary.
