Welcome Garry.I've got a 1:1 64 Fury convertible and would like to make the fleet bigger..No money since retirement..Even models are getting expensive but not like the real ones..
You say you used the JoHan GTX interior..It was an option on the Decor Package/Deluxe interior group..It was available..It made the cost of the RR almost as much as the GTX..You did a fantastic rebuild of your model..Very nice and clean...
When you order from him he not only sends quickly and expertly packaged but if you have a pet and live in the USA you get a pet treat..He's really the best there is to deal with..Go to Spotlight Hobbies forum..Check it out and on his opener he has all for sale..Great guy..
Holie poop man, does that shine..What kind of paint and clear did you use.Although I don't use Novus and always Meguiar's products..I usually just wet sand to 2000..
I like where you are going with this..You got lots of work ahead of you but after your filler shriks and you fill again, this is going to be a killer modification..Well done...Keep it going and for sure show lots of pictures..
"You wanted the best, you got em, four abreast, often imitated never duplicated, the greatest show on dirt,The World of Outlaws,Craftsman Sprint Car Series"
And now we've got another modeler who does things to perfection..Very nicely done and it looks so real..Very nice work, keep it up and make sure we see lots of it on the finished page..EXCELLENT!
I've got a Lindberg 1964 Dodge 330 stock sedan thats been sitting for at least 15 years..Painted/foiled and interior/engine done..Won't get done this week or month but I think its got to be done this year..Picture of body in paint only..
I think cats are very good looking animals..I'am allergic to them..Went once to builders basement to purchase some kits..Cat jumped on my lap.Patted it, then rubbed my face..By the time to go home my eyes we almost swollen shut..Missed two shifts at work..Love cats but can't touch them..Dogs no problem..Any kind.
If I built one the quality of your Pontiac I would be very proud..Don't sell or quit..Work on your house and keep building when possible and hope to see you at NNL North this year..
My mistake for saying been not building for 81 years..I'am hoping to live to be 81 and older if God be willing..I thought the tires looked too small..I have some from the Barracuda and Challenger that might do the trick as long as the rims fit..Casey I'll take your tip on installing the chassis front first..Espo I''am going to piece it together with masking tape first..Don't want the same problems I had with the Road Runner..Actually looking forward to this build..Haven't done a Ford in eons...
I would like to start one I stripped the paint off 18 years ago..Is there anything I should be on the look for? like trouble areas??Does the chassis fit in nice and snug and not show on the sides, does the back panel/valence to be painted semi gloss black or body color..Any little quirks would be nice to know..I don't like doing wipers(which this doesn't have) but has separate door handles..I know its a fairly simple straight forward kit but I've been away from building for 81 yrs and don't want something too involved..I want to do a clean glue free type job..I want it to look good..Although I don't do wires and plumbing (due to stroke in '98, dexterity and patience is not there) I want it to be clean and show well with no smudges of glue..Any tips would be appreciated...Thanks...
