  1. Junkman's suggestion of the 300 S is good, but I prefer the 1951-55 roadster or Cabriolet.
  2. Search in Google Images for the designation you're looking for (CH-47, for example) under "chinook helicopter model kit".There are several versions and scales, transports, armed, different countries. Also check eBay.
  3. One small oversight in the kit... It has radio speakers in the door jambs but no radio. Very simple to fix - just check out a dashboard image and you can make your own (it hangs under the middle of the dash in a leather/Tex covered mount). PS. The antenna would be installed in the top right cowling at the corner of the hood. Here's a Becker Mexico from a Gullwing
  4. Great job. Painting the hubcaps is quite an accomplishment.
  5. Jairus's link is the best -- If you scroll down to the Tips, Tricks and Tutorials section below, you will find a thread with about 13 pages of great advice , about 4th subject from the top.
  6. I've seen TV spots for this glue, which says it can adhere anything, is sandable and paintable, and uses a UV stylus to set it. ($19.99 but no Ginsu knives). Has anyone tried it?

  8. Have you checked out the 1/16 Fujimi-Testors 288 GTO?
  9. Spectacular work.
  10. Aren't you going for a WWII resistance theme?
  11. I've seen plenty of Pocher Bugattis, but I'm still waiting to see what you do with your one-of-a-kind Pocher Rolls as a shooting brake.
  12. Back in the day, Olds was seen as an entry-level Cadillac, somewhere between Buick and Caddy. Maybe GM, as it sought to rebrand Cadillac, didn't want to cannibalize sales.
  13. Beautiful work. The top is very realistic.
  14. Dang. Your autocorrect went crazy on this one. But maybe I don't know what a chicle drab is.
  15. I haven't seen a kit earlier than 1960. Whole different vibe. There was something from way, way back by a company called Ace, but we're talking about the need for a new, quality kit here.
  16. Wow. Nice work on bending the door to meet the cowl.
  17. 1950 Jeepster.
  18. Your classics from the 30s are always outstanding.
  19. In that episode, The"state" had nothing to do with the problem. It was typical Serling Irony within a post apocalyptic world.
  20. Love the pushme-pullyu optical illusion.
  21. That Carrera Panamericana car is spectacular.
  22. Ace mentioned the romance of the old steam trains, which I also experienced here. Used to play cowboys on a locomotive in a city park in Kansas. A Christmas present to myself this year: a brass table lamp from the Paris-Istanbul Orient-Express. I just re-watched "Murder on the Orient-Express" last night. What a way to travel.
  23. Yeah, I skip over the Shankar raga stuff on the Harrison memorial, which is way too long. But the ensemble of stars, especially Jeff Lynne, Joe Brown, etc., is stunning. Billy Preston's version of "My Sweet Lord" is unforgettable, and the guitar finale with everyone is worth a standing ovation, even if you're alone. After 14 years, it's still a tear-jerker for me.
  24. I can't remember who did it, but back in the day, someone combined "Twist and Shout" with "La Bamba" for nearly 10 minutes of the best, sweat-soaked dance music ever.
