  1. My slightly modified 'shorty' version of the IMC trailer. Simple but nice for a little variety..... Just noticed that this thread goes back pretty far......a different angle
  2. No interest in the electric motor....happy to buy w/o!!!! But another issue for Atlantis (from what I understand) is they don't have the ability to chrome plate parts in house. So if they are out sourced....added cost to a fringe kit. I'd say we tell Atlantis to just run it without chrome plating.......I'll do that with the spray chromes out there now. I can see them doing that if we let them know.
  3. I saw a stock Vega wagon Saturday. the guy lives in the area and is at every car event. Wife owned a 74 hatchback when we got married. Awful car with ball steering, heavy clutch. Seems I recall having to remove the glove box to replace the fuel pump??? We sold it to get a house...so it served us OK. Model wise....I'll buy any of them......
  4. O scale 3 rail model trains. Thhis is a custom painted GE Dash unit. Tamiya paint and my own decals. My vintage cars......66 Mustang, 73 Javelin, 46 Ford Super DeLux and a 74 Matador. LEGO!! My son is a huge LEGO collector with a LEGO city filling his basement. I build something now and then to add to the city. This is my airport crash truck. Low stress fun!!! A few others too......
  5. NICE WORK!!! I like builds of non mainstream cars.......
  6. Yes....and any hobby shop that wishes to carry them. They wholesale to the trade.
  7. Wow!! So cool!!! At times when driving my 46 Ford Super DeLux I wonder what her history is........I've even envisioned doing something like you did.....A photo of the car new with it's just out of the army owner.....love your pic
  8. Cool project......I like this era cars.....
  9. I hope you are right.....
  10. The Mad Max Falcon was on the small side.....I'll wait until someone has one in hand. Thanks.
  11. Are they scale or box scale??? Many 1/24 die cast are NOT neat scale....check some of the FnF cars!!
  12. Also his love and restorations of things like stationary steam engines and the like.......because of the mechanical nature.
  13. Current SUV are family trucksters.......4 door sell. We went car shopping in 2014......we went to buy a 4 door Civic or small CRV.....at the dealer we spotted a 2 door Civic and the dealer said he'd give us $4K off if we'd buy it....it had been on the showroom floor for months with not a single tire kicker. And it just being the wife and I...we bought it. Again 4 doors sell.
  14. My vote too....
  15. Per those in the know it's a modified re-tool of the 2 door kit. NO other info was given.
  16. You'd think, big seller or not, they'd want to get more cash out of that tooling. I bought the first one I saw as I thought i'd be a short run.
  17. And the JoHan NASCAR 72 Torino kit has a decent stock frame. The floor pan needs work but a good start.
  18. A 72 body on a 70 chassis will be a custom car. 70 Torino has leaf springs rear, 72 coil with short arms....many other differences too.
  19. If it sells....YES!!!
  20. Trash bin I fear.......
  21. Interesting............Coke sells.......what is the Pinto??
  22. Soon.....very soon.......and they'd sell. I'll get this issue Autocar dump.....never had one. Remember we are the fringe....much more is sold to the rest of the folks over to us here.....
  23. Doubt HL publishes info other than shelf tags......HL is private owned IIRC
