  4. Thanks Jim Thanks Larry
  5. Well built & detailed !!
  6. Bob also raced a brand new 65 Mustang which continued to be raced very successfully for a couple of years by John Hall. The team also raced a Cooper Formula Junior and an MG A
  7. This is the Revell slot car kit from the early 1960's
  8. Thanks Pat Thanks Rich Thanks Dann Thanks Gary - A friend is arranging a meeting with a guy visiting Victoria who raced against this car in another 23B so that will be interesting.
  9. This model is a tribute to the Lotus 23B raced by Greater Vancouver resident Bob McLean before he was tragically killed in a Ford GT40 at the 1965 12 Hours of Sebring. I started with a Monogram Scarab and tried to make it at least resemble a 23B.
  10. Impressive model and fantastic photos. I have yet to see a full scale new Supra in the flesh. This is almost as good.
  11. Gorgeous. One of my all time favourite cars. Looks great in grey. Always wanted one of these kits and it is such a shame Italeri has been unable to reissue their great Ferrari kits such as this and the 275's and even more surprising one of the Asian model companies has not found a way to do so. Someday I will build my AMT kit as a facsimile 250SWB.
  12. Top notch build of an interesting subject
  13. It must have been this one although clearly it does not have dual rear wheels. Were they put on for the parade laps or is my memory playing tricks with me. Albeit that Bentley was mighty impressive when driven with gusto !!
  14. Now that's a real looker. Nicely done.
  15. I always enjoy seeing models of classics. You did a great job building on this Bentley which definitely was an awesome car for its time. I once got placed behind a Bentley from the same era with dualie rear wheels and tires for what I had hoped would be fast parade laps of Pacific Raceways. I was in my 65 Falcon V8 4-speed. I figured I would never have a chance to get up to speed but it turned out the Bentley was driven by the Chief Track Marshall and that car had a huge amount of torque and the weight and extra tires meant it really stuck through the corners. I Had to hustle to keep up. It was a real surprise.
  16. Looks like it came right out of a 63 Ford sales brochure!
  17. Looks like a Lotus 30
  18. Very sharp looking Golf. I owned a VR6 GTI for many years so the R32 was my dream car.
  19. That is one great looking first gen Falcon. Well built.
  20. You captured the look of a hot rodded Olds incredibly well
  21. I had no idea that MPC snap kit could be built as such a good looking Mercury
  22. I have always really liked that four hardtop design on all the GM name plates in 59 and 60 but you do not see them very often as models so great to see your Cady.
  23. Excellent in all respects
  24. I really enjoyed looking at your vast collection of Corvette models. Some very interesting builds.
