That is a beautiful paint job on one of my favorite old kits. Whenever I do a paint job that comes out that shiny, I usually don't clear coat for fear of making it look worse. Lol
I like it! Not critisizing your work but I have always thought those wheel covers were butt fugly and all wrong for this car. They would look ok on an Avanti however.
i have looked at this model a half dozen times since you posted it and all i can say is Wow. I aspire to equal your work and i have been modeling for over 50 yrs. BRAVO
That looks really nice! I bought one at Hobby Lobby a few weeks ago and fortunately the windshield frame is ok. I built a few big scale cars when i was young but not this one and I'm now looking forward to it. I think bigger scales are easier to get a good paint finish on.
The reason for the flared front fenders is because it looks like the front wheels have been moved forward to me. Was that legal in this class or was there a little cheating going on. (imagine that)
