  1. Yes, please post.
  2. I know about that one but was referring to a kit of modern design. Thanks for the pic.
  3. Am I the only one here who would like a kit of Supercar from the old marionette kids show?
  4. Looks alot like some of the old Renaults I used to see in the hood.
  5. After seeing the pic of the real deal, the headlights don't really look that much closer together.
  6. My recurring dreams have been: Riding a motorcycle through Jacksonville at night, driving my car and the road is suddenly under water but my car keeps going and doesn't sink and when I look around me all I can see is open ocean, and one about trying to stop my car from going over a cliff but no matter how hard I push the brake pedal it doesn't stop. Who knows, maybe I have an obsession with being on the road. I have also had several different dreams that included my deceased brother in different roles. He's been gone since 1982.
  7. Terrible news. You and family have my deepest sympathy.
  8. Nice paint and decals.
  9. Cool! I did not know there was a kit of this.
  10. Cutting the fan shroud in half is a great idea. Why can't i think of things like that.
  11. Very nice!
  12. Beautiful model!
  13. Thanks Ray. I may try to remove the side covers and reposition them as they are a little crooked and seem to be pushing up the rear of the tank a little. The tank is only glued at the front mounting pins.
  14. Absolutely stunning paint!
  15. They would have to do a new interior as well.
  16. I don't think it was the 66. The reissue of that kit is what got me thinking about it. After looking on Scalemates it may have been the 69 but the versions they show don't have the right decals.
  17. I got an AMT Buick Wildcat for my birthday when I was a kid and can,t remember what year car the model represented. It was mid sixties and came with the big panel decals that covered the roof , hood etc. Can anybody help me out. I would like to track one down and do a nostalgia build. It wasn't one of the Flower Power series because I remember it having the usual 3n1 type box art.
  18. Always thought "It" was his scariest story but Christine is my fav and the movie is pretty good as well. The It movies did not impress me.
  19. The Story of the Flying Tigers sparked an interest in the CBI theatre of WW2 that I still have to this day and started me building airplane models. For adventure it would have been Mysterious Island, Mutiny on the Bounty, King Arthur and his Knights, Battle of the Bulge , King Solomons Mines and Fighting the Flying Circus. Later on I got into Steven King stuff.
  20. I always paint a hood or some other body color part first for this very reason.
