  1. Nice work so far.
  2. Glad you're back and nice work.
  3. Wow! That looks really nice. I remember when these cars were everywhere. Dark brown or black with that color top were popular color schemes.
  4. I would like to enter this one next if I can. AMT 69 GTX. With Duplicolor Touch up paint Nissan Orange Mist. I used Quick Shine as a clear coat. Started it in 2013 and worked on it off and on since. Hasn't been touched in at least two years. It stalled at the foiling stage as a lot of my projects do.
  5. It's so thin that I am afraid of making a mess. Same with the narrow strips along the rocker panels. So thin that they are hardly noticeable anyway.
  6. Man, that's a real beauty!
  7. Here she is. Painted with Tamiya Light Blue pearl and unpainted seats and door panels. Good fitting, well engineered kit. Pros: Hood actually fits well. Easy final assembly. Thin, optically clear windshield and backlight. Cons: Very little attachment surface for windshield. Chrome rubbed off from handling. Decal whitewalls.(why when they have done better in the past) Two piece rear view mirrors. No attachment points for entire rear of chassis, it just floats up and down inside the body. I made my own. Track width appears too narrow in the rear.
  8. Your replacement wheels look much better than the ones in the box.
  9. 66 Impala - calling this one done. Next pics will be in Under Glass.
  10. And here she is off the trailer idling with a nice lope just like in the Youtube videos.
  11. Got the Impala almost finished. Here she is on the trailer just home from the resto shop. Still needs body details and bumpers.
  12. Outstanding Chevy! Like the hubcaps.
  13. Beautiful 'Cuda Tim.
  14. I like the truck but man do those figures look realistic.
  15. Hey! I resemble that remark
  16. Oh yeah, that is well done.
  17. My holy grail kit is the AMT 67 Mustang fastback with the Trudell Ford drag car on the box. Running a close second is the MPC King T/Wild Dream double kit.
  18. I remember this car and you did a nice rendition of it. That color pic of the real thing looks like they may have done the old drooping front clip trick.
  19. The Alexander brothers were well known customizers back in the sixties and built many famous cars. Just Google them.
  20. I really like all of your Mustang restos but this one is especially nice. Does this kit have an engine or is it Craftsman style? Also , where can I find Wrights silver cream?
  21. Got the dash and steering wheel done. The radio decal wouldn't cooperate so I just gave up on it. Got the decal in the center of the wheel upside down but who could really tell anyway. Also added the washer bottle and upper radiator hose and got the "glass" glued in.The windshield was very iffy due to very little gluing surface but good won out over evil in the end. Next will be firewall details. The close up pics really show how sloppy my detail painting is.☹️
  22. I like this and most any Mopar from the sixties. Good color choice .
  23. Very nice and I like that style of rally wheel too.
