  1. I like what you're doing with this Robert. I'm a fan of this generation Ford trucks as well and your engine looks great. The paint polishing also looks good.
  2. Thanks for all of the comments everyone. It's nice to be posting my work again. Pics were taken with my phone. If it ever stops raining here, I will try to take better pics.
  3. I got most of the interior done. My attempt at doing the brushed aluminum on the console didn't turn out so hot. Still need to finish detailing the instrument panel and steering wheel.
  4. That looks really good! Nice paint job too.
  5. That 1/32 69 Mustang body looks pretty nice. Have never seen one up close. Are the front bumper and grill separate from the body?
  6. Got some interior painting done after work today. Two coats of MM acrylic flat white on the headliner. Looks like it's going to need about four more coats. I have a day off tomorrow with nothing to do but get a haircut so I should get some more done. By the way, this kit was started in 2011.
  7. Sorry, posted in wrong place, moved to the BOYD thread
  8. OK Snake, I am in with this one as it's the only WIP that has already been foiled. Revell 66 Impala OOB painted with Tamiya Light Blue Pearl. The body just needs the decals and a clear coat and the interior needs to be finished.
  9. That looks good
  10. Started this one sometime in 2015 and after going through two moves it's finally finished.Model Master Fathom Green with Testors laquer clear. Straight OOB except for steering wheel. I didn't like the base model wheel that came with the kit.
  11. It looks like an Eldo so it would be front drive.
  12. I like this one alot.
  13. Wow Bill, that is a great looking welding setup. Those gas bottles look just like the real ones that I used to work with.
  14. Hi Snake, I thought about joining the BOYD but it is so near finished that I would feel like a cheater. as soon as I get enough coffee in me I will get it done.Should only take an hour or so. Instead I will join up with one of my other stalled projects:
  15. Started this in 2015 and it languished in the box for years. I had a WIP thread posted at the time but can't track it down. Anyway, I got it out a week ago and decided to finish it up. Here's where it stands now. Nothing left but final body details.
  16. Great job on the correction Roger! First time I have seen someone do this.
  17. Thanks Casey. That's the way the instructions show to do it but there is a lot of stress on the radiator bulkhead. I fixed that issue by cutting off the little ears that point forward on each side of the bulkhead. It is now together and I only need to add the final body details. The tail panel went right in with the exhaust pipes helping to hold it in place.
  18. What a beautiful color.
  19. One of my favorite kits and it looks like you are doing it proud. Beware if you are going to use the large side panel decals as they don't line up with the wheel openings properly.
  20. Paint looks good. I have always liked the parchment interiors.
  21. How do you get the body on the chassis? After some careful trial fitting it looks as though the radiator bulkhead is going to be ripped off the chassis in the process.Trying to finish one that has been a wip for several years and don't want to wreck it now.
  22. Very nice! But why does it have a 59 front bumper?
  23. I'll cast another vote for lacquer thinner. All I've used for years.
  24. I had a Bonnie and Clyde boxing of the 32 Vicky back in the early70s that came with the piecrust Firestones.
