  1. I no longer have the box but mine was released in the 2000's and has no mention of Hogans Heroes. Just had a pic of a generic military Jeep on the box.
  2. I have the last reissue of the Jeep and it doesn't have them. It has some deep dish Hurricane style wheels instead. It also has no chrome parts at all.
  3. Finally made some more progress yesterday.Installed the exhaust system and found a more realistic spare tire which completes the chassis assembly. I then moved on to the most intimidating part (at least for me) of most builds-the body trim. Used black and silver sharpies for the windshield trim and some Model Master chrome silver enamel for the vent window posts. The "glass" is obviously clamped until the glue dries. I use Testors clear part cement for most clear parts and it works well and is stronger then ordinary white glue but takes a long time to dry. The kit doesn't come with a rear view mirror but I will be adding one. Just might finish this one tonight.
  4. I like this a lot! Perfect stance and proportions.
  5. Very nice!
  6. Wouldn't be too difficult to kitbash Ralphs pickup. Even the wheel covers were in the old Monogram model A kits.
  7. This is stronger than Purple power from my experience as well.
  8. Thanks very much for that Casey. I have started calling Hpiguy the Bob Ross of modeling.
  9. The rear end on that tbird is so funky that it's cool. Neat find!
  10. Finally got back to this one today. Shot a coat of Tamiya clear on her and it turned out well. Not going for a really shiny finish, instead going for old original paint that has dulled over the years but has been kept clean. I'm off all next week so I should be able to finish her up. Next step is the body trim and grill details. The wheels need another coat of black and will be using the hub caps.
  11. What a cool looking engine! Don't stop now.
  12. Just preordered mine. Thanks for all of your hard work.
  13. I like it.
  14. Nice work!
  15. Nice! Where did you find those heads?
  16. That looks great! The paint is beautiful and the stance is right.
  17. I built the time machine back then. From what I can remember it was just a stock Sportster. My buddy had the Bronson kit but never built it.
  18. Nice
  19. Thanks. I was just about to stop posting updates due to lack of interest.
