  1. The engine looks great! The spinning fan is awesome! ? Well done! David G.
  2. It's coming together quite nicely. Good work on the exhaust and interior. David G.
  3. Hello Everybody! I have Revell's 1970 Superbird kit but there are no Roadrunner decals with it and I'd like to use a set when I build it. "Meep! Meep!" I've done some searching on the internet but Google only seems to provide "Sponsored" ads that don't point to the kind of retailers that I seek. This is like what I have in mind. Thanks All! David G.
  4. Quite an excellent backdrop diorama. Lot's of subtle detail that doesn't overwhelm the subject. It's rich without being busy or distracting. I especially like the weathering of the utility pole and the window fill-ins. Great visual character items. David G.
  5. Nicely Done! David G.
  6. A beautiful rendition of an American Classic! Those wheels look fabulous on it. I have this kit in my stash and I've been thinking about building it as my next project. It's one of the standard builds for model car builders. David G.
  7. That is sweet! A good, solid looking build. I like the prism tape too. David G.
  8. It must have been a challenge getting all those strips aligned. Do you plan for it to have a removable top when it's done? David G.
  9. Nice progress. That's why many of us use photos to "proof" our work. I can't tell you how many times I've caught painting and building errors while reviewing my build progress photos. I think our brains process the visual information from images differently than they do from objects. Whatever the reason, photos can be a powerful tool in that regard. David G.
  10. I think you've made a good choice for the engine. I have to say though, I think that this is the first tilt front end that I've seen on a car of this configuration. Wait, I take that back. I can recall a '40 Ford coupe with a fiberglass flip-nose. Still, it's gonna be cool, nice job getting it all sorted. BTW, I've also had build projects that went back into the box until my skills caught up with my ambitions. My Chevy Proton took me almost a decade to complete. David G.
  11. That Camaro is what I would call "Smooth an' Deadly" David G.
  12. One of my first cars was a '71 Ventura with a 250 in it. It sure was easy to change the starter on it. I can still remember standing inside the engine bay and sitting on the fender well to do that! David G.
  13. Nice detail work on the engine. It should have a K-Mart oil filter on it though. David G.
  14. Absolutely Beautiful! That final photo is great! The use of light, camera angle and setting really come together nicely. Oh, and the model turned out really good too! David G.
  15. Holy Cow, that's wild! A tremendous amount of work, all of it exceedingly well done! It makes me think of a vehicle built for a science fiction movie sometime in the Seventies. David G.
  16. It looks great for a quick knock-out! It's a shame about the decals though. David G.
  17. Looks like a fun project. David G.
  18. This should be quite interesting.... you have my interest. David G.
  19. Sweet looking color! David G.
  20. It looks great! It seems that you managed to get the air boxes installed under the hood. I had trouble getting the ones in mine to fit so I left them out. I'm curious, did you have any trouble getting the grille and bumper to fit correctly on the front end? I had problems getting the ones on the convertible I built to fit flush having to "file to fit" as it were. In any case, nicely done with yours! David G.
  21. That works, it looks right to my eye. David G.
  22. It looks cool with the multicolored plastic, like retail camouflage! I bought some plastic "Yard Sale" and "No Trespassing" signs of varying thicknesses at Home a number of years ago for exactly that same purpose. Inexpensive styrene sheet stock for custom build projects. Getting styrene that way sure is a heck of a lot cheaper than buying Evergreen for the same purpose. David G.
