  2. An impressive amount of work so far! David G.
  3. What a beautiful body design! It looks like a very fun and challenging kit. I would feel a bit intimidated by those decals and all that PE though. But you're a man who seems to love the art of the detail, so to speak. In any case, I'm a little envious. That's quite a kit for the money. David G.
  4. Looks like it'll be one sweet custom rod when you get it done. David G.
  5. That should look great on your shelf. David G.
  6. Nice chassis detailing, paint looks great too. David G.
  7. I have the set on Blu-Ray, I'll have to watch #3 again when I get the chance. David G.
  8. Having all those things items glued to a car would certainly discourage tailgating. Not my style but I appreciate the effort and results. David G.
  9. Beautiful detailing and paintwork. The paint may not be that glossy but it's smooth and even which is biggest part of a great paintjob. Welcome back to the hobby. David G.
  10. Color choice, chassis details, interior work, you have a lot of great stuff going on there. David G.
  11. Nice progress on this, your foil work looks great! David G.
  12. A clean solid looking build! Great paintwork and engine detail. David G.
  13. Great overhaul! Of course the original has a charm of its own too. David G.
  14. Great callback! I really got a chuckle out of that, thanks Brian. David G.
  15. Thanks Chaz, It's sometimes the smallest details that make the biggest difference. David G.
  16. Those sound like some great Ideas Joe, I haven't decided if I want to build my deluxe kit with the V-8 or the turbine, but I'm leaning toward the turbine. But, yeah, the snapper is a great OOB build and really satisfies the desire for a Barris Batmobile. Thanks for your comment. David G.
  17. Thanks Andrew, I'm happy to know that my efforts are appreciated, both in modeling and editing. Thank you Rex. There are a lot of good snap kits out there but Polar Lights snap kits are the best I've built so far. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with me Patrick. I'm a fan of the movies too... well the first two anyway. The third one's not bad but it's not as good as the others. BTW, I was a fan of the cars before it was cool . I usually tend to root for the underdog and it kind of broke my heart John DeLorean "failed". Thanks again, David G.
  18. Hello Everyone! I've gone in and reedited the old photos to hopefully make them a bit more eye friendly and uploaded them to the topic once again. This should be the last time I have to rescue this topic from the PhotoBucket Monster. Regards, David G.

  20. Believe me Mark, I know the feeling. David G.
  21. Yesterday I set up the "big-boy" camera for some better quality shots of my most recent mock-up. Having the panel lines darkened makes a big difference in overall the appearance of the model. I decided that the lines around the front and rear deck lids and the roll pans were too dark and I've since lightened them up a little. I also detailed and installed the driving lights. As always, thanks for stopping by for a peek. David G.
  22. So I do have a connection to this one, I knew it! One thing I was wondering though, have you considered using the wheel sets from the Pantera? David G.
  23. Clever solution Mark! I'm eager to see it in process. David G.
  24. Your solution is even more simple than I imagined! I do tend to over think things sometimes. David G.
