  1. Beautiful build of cool subject! That paint job turned out great, and I like the colors too with those stripes on it. Nice engine detail also. Very good scratchbuilding all over, this is one of the best Ford Pickups, I've seen for a while.
  2. I'm finally back on this one too, and I was working on the chassis. I filled that hole on the chassis, and had to make smaller hole on that piece of plastic too, because of the Gas Tank. Gas Tank (or the part if it what can be seen from underside of the car) is built from styrene and after I glued everything together, I added some MMD's Green Putty. After some sanding, the chassis looks like this. It needs lots of more work still, and that Gas Tank needs some details too, but it's slowly getting there. And I started adding spark plug wires too...
  3. Well this is piece of art!!! Very cool scratchbuilding, this thing is going to look super when it's done. Fitting looks good, and I like that Gasket too. Didn't even think about, that there would be gaskets in Model Cars..!
  4. Cool Willys, it's a shame that I missed this in 2010. Weathering looks good and realistic. I also like that 426 MaxWedge on the engine bay. Something different than the usual Hemi.
  5. WOW, Great looking Edsels, both of them! I've been always a fan of Edsels, I can't understand how some people find these ugly or don't like these because of some other reason. I think these are much cooler than '58 Fords, for example (and they are nice too). Your builds look very cool, that Factory Stock Edsel is great, and it looks like real car on the pictures. Paintjob is very smooth and shiny and detailing is great. How about the quality of that AMT kit? That rusty Edsel looks very good too. Weathering looks very realistic and you've nailed the old look of that car.
  6. Very cool build and thanks for the History too! Great build of interesting subject is always very nice to see, and I especially like this one. This turned out very nice, the paint job is great and finishing too. Great detail all over.
  7. Yeah, it's not hard to get, but it's just because of the money. New kit costs more here in Finland, than in your LHS. And if I order the kit from ModelExpress for example, shipping makes the kit expensive too. But that might be the only way to get correct part for my Sleeper Chevelle.
  8. Well, I've been using both, Photobucket and Fotki. I prefer photobucket, it's much easier and pictures are easy to move on this forum as pictures. In Fotki, pictures are harder to upload (that might be because of my bad computer) and they are hard to move on the forums as pictures. In Photobucket just needs to copy that IMG-Code, and paste it here. Fotki is good one too, but not as good as photobucket. I've seen other photo-hosting sites too, like Webshots. Anyway, I have never tried anything else, since photobucket works fine for me. As you said, "It may just be me, but no matter what day it is, or what computer I'm using, half of the photos I see hosted there don't show up.", I have same problem with the Fotki. I don't know why, and problem may be my computer, but when I upload my own pictures on Fotki, the problem comes... Some of them can't be opened. I've found one way to solve this problem: Delete that picture what can't be opened and upload it again. Then it does show. Only problem, I've had with Photobucket is that sometimes I reach the storage limit, but that's just because I post too much pictures. I've been using photobucket for 4 years (about that I guess) and I've had that problem twice... So all in all, I prefer Photobucket.
  9. Finally I found Supercharger for the CobraJet Mustang, it's resin part by Competition Resins. I painted it flat black, as in reference pictures. Also painted the intake manifold and transmission. Gear Box is painted with Humbroll Metallic 56. Now I can continue building the engine, and hopefully I can post more updates very soon. Sorry about those poor quality pictures.
  10. More pictures... These are from HotRod & Rock Show. Great show with lots of cool cars inside... http://tapahtumakuvia.kuvat.fi/kuvat/Tapahtumat+2012/Hot+Rod++Rock+Show+28.-29.4.2012/ And Some Pictures From Model-Expo: http://tapahtumakuvia.kuvat.fi/kuvat/Tapahtumat+2012/Model+Cars/Model+Expo+27.-29.4.2012/ And some pictures from another Model Car Show, in Mynämäki. http://tapahtumakuvia.kuvat.fi/kuvat/Tapahtumat+2012/Model+Cars/Huolin+Pienoismallin%E4yttely+5.5.2012/
  11. Well that's great news!!! I will stay tuned, hopefully the body turns out good.
  12. This is piece of art! Great build! This was very fun to follow, and I'm impressed of your building skills. And the best thing is, that it's in 1/25 scale, not bigger. Paintjob turned out great, and engine detail is incredible, as always. I really like this one, it looks like it could race on the Drag Strip every day.
  13. The Tail light panel, what comes with the kit is ugly, as Andy said. Revell should include that original taillight panel in the box too, because those original ones are really hard to find, and I'm afraid that I have to buy a new kit to get that panel.
  14. Cool Ford, it's always nice to see these "cheaper" models being built, not always the Fairlane, or Impala etc. Great job on the conversion and paint looks good too. I'd like to see just some more pictures.
  15. It looks very good so far, I like the paint job on it. I usually like Shiny paint jobs, but this one could have been cool as a Rat Rod too. Anyways, it looks good in gloss green too. Just one question, what came to my mind when I was planning to do something like this.... Did you Narrow the body?
  16. Well, I have about 50 projects on different stages. When one build is drying or waiting parts, I can move on to the next one. That's simple, and I never have problem like "I have nothing to build".
  17. This was very hard one, I used few hours trying to find out, what it is. But I didn't get it this time, I had no idea at any point. Well at least I was pretty sure that it was Real, not a Model.
  18. It's absolutely number three! Great job you've done with the Mustang so far, keep it up.
  19. This is going to be very cool project. I remember when you posted alot of Older Drag Builds, and I can't wait to see this one.
  20. WooHoo this is going to be another great build. It looks very good already and this is absolutely something different. You Gave me and idea too. I guess I have to bulild something like this too, since I have some spare bodies.
  21. Great Job with the engine so far, Romell! I have to say, that even if the engine could look bit rough when it's under construction, there's lots of work behind and how many of you could build that nice cylinder head from brass? I know that I can't. Anyway you are doing awesome job with this Pro Mod Camaro, this will be amazing when finished.
  22. This Finnish '55 Chevy was one of the most beautiful Drag Cars, I've seen, it's a shame that it flipped over few years ago. But here are some pics of it in action. Just click the little picture on right hand side, and you can move to the next image. I still remember that wheelie, it was wild. http://sg470.pictures.fi/kuvat/2004+Kuvat/PICT0197.JPG The car was called "Bad-55".
  23. Wow! I thought that pics from 1:1 cars were not allowed! Just kidding, great job on the interior. As Harry said, very clean and sharp details all over. I like that shift diagram too, but those carpets are amazing. Corvette textes are very sharp. Also you've managed to get perfect paint shade for the seats.
  24. Thanx Scott! More work done with the Chevelle, I built tubings from Turbochargers to the Fuel Injection system, and added air cleaners. They need some paint before I can call them done though. I also cut some material off from the front end of that engine bay, to make bit more space for the turbos. Continued that hood also, I added that little "high spot" from metal wire. Next I need to add some bondo.
  25. Lots of work ahead in this project but I think it'll turn out great. I'm interested of seeing more .
