Thanks for the compliments and comments guys! I see some of the amazingly wonderful builds on here and I try to bring myself out of my comfort zone and try new things. Sometimes it’s a lesson in futility, sometimes it turns out ok.

With mine I followed everyone’s advice on putting the front sub frame in last and it worked good for me. The exhaust was also an issue but you may be able to gently bend it to fit.

What they said up there ^^^ Beautiful build so far!!

Or as I call it the “Glutton for Punishment “ This thing had so much flash it felt like I was carving each piece out of a block of styrene. Going to try and make a silk purse out of this sows ear. Undecided on colors yet but hopefully it turns out good.

This is one of my most detailed builds yet. It fought me tooth and nail the entire build. I mocked everything up several times throughout the build and it was a perfect fit. Final assembly saw the hood not closing all the way but I wasn’t taking it apart to figure it out. Testors Fiery Orange paint. Pegasus Magnum wheels and just some basic wiring. Hope y’all like it!

Basically it’s the old 69 Z28/RS kit with a new hood and better decal sheet? I’m not including the steelies and big block because they are already readily available. I’ll pick one up when I catch it at HL 40% off. Not exactly something I would run out and buy but the hood looks nice.

Resin RM 70 challenger flat hood problems
Keef replied to Hondamatic's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
If this caster is who I think it is I have bought some hoods and other pieces from them in the past. The hoods were of “ok” quality but I ordered I believe 6 hoods total and out of those 4 were so thin and warped so badly that 1 of them even broke when I tried to straighten it out. I’ve been debating on whether or not to try it again but understandably I’m a bit apprehensive. -
From one Mopar fan to another ??????

A Pair of Camaros--Dual 1970 Camaro Build-Z-28 in "Under Glass"

I could be wrong but it looks like the Cragars either from the BM Camaro or the recent Revell El Camino reissue.
