  1. Ron W, would that be Missing Link for the full Maverick resin kit?? Oldcarfan- that paint will come off in the purple pond like magic . Just put the 1967 Amt Mustang chassis under it and build it as a gasser !!!!
  2. junkyardjeff, I have that very same Kit , 72 Comet by Palmer, it looks like it was a copy of a Johan promo although not as good.
  3. I believe that this pinto was a Cherrios cereal box top promotion. Send in so many box tops and 50 cents for postage. The detergent cars were 1/32 scale by Funmate. Please correct me if I'm wrong that was over 50 yrs ago.
  4. Mark is right that Lincoln is 1/20 or 1/16 scale . I believe Modelhaus did the chrome for that kit first.
  5. I think you can buy this car in 1/24 diecast for a replacement bumper!!!!!!!!!!!Welly I think!
  6. It looks like someone resin cast the diecast1/24th 4 door low rider 1938 Chevy and added a hood from the Amt 37 Chevy
  7. alan barton,This is an extremely nice build. You have now inspired me to Google Australian 1933 Willys Ute for my build style!!!!
  8. Good one Duke E!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. Ferby, this is one instance where the real(1/1) car builders should take note. This should be built as a real car. Also I would buy one if it was a resin model kit kit. Absolutely Fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. NIce job GINO! The subtle changes are Kool. I like the Jada diecast grille and the rear taillight panel!!!!
  11. Thank you Casey for that link!!! I just ordered one of the boxes!!!!!!!! You should get a commission from them! lol
  12. Just remember guys, if it doesn't sell well then there will be an Ollie's dump or a sale at Autoworld. I'll wait to buy them then. John G, please spend the money to do the 1964 Cutlass. The hanger shot has everything there for the awb car. Just no stock body. You have to retool a new bodymold. I'll send you one to reverse engineer. Do the awb car first ,then the convertible, then a hardtop. Then do new chrome for a 1965, with interior also. Amortise the cost over 4 releases = profit???
  13. Well Elon did his job , he got us talking about this " truck" - free publicity, free internet buzz. didn't have to spend a lot for advertising. It kind of reminds me when the Ford Taurus came out with aero styling. It took a little while to get used to , then everyone copied aero styling. I think he should call it the Tesla origami truck.
  14. Highland, Mi ( between Detroit and Lansing). got mine copy on the 21st of November,2019.
  15. That kit should sell well after the movie Ford vs Ferrari is out this weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. Way to back me up Kris, and Kevin too!!
  17. how about using section from a clear red tooth brush from the dollar store . right color, right contour , cheap enough, just cut to fit and polish, polish, polish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  18. He was at the DAAM show last Sunday. I don't know if he was set up? He is also a member here on This forum.
  19. Thank you Daddyfink and Luc Jansens for those explanations. It makes it all clearer now!!!.
  20. Doesn't Okey Spaulding own the Johan trademark now??? IS IT JO-HAN AND NOT JOHAN??
  21. You mean to tell me my EPA compliant regular street car which I modify with CARB- EPA certified aftermarket parts becomes illegal? Something can and cannot be at the same time . (philosophy 101) It is one way or the other, not both!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  22. Thank you Mark for that observation. that I didn't know!!!
  23. THANK YOU DAVE VAN FOR CLARIFING THAT IT WAS THE WHOLE CHROME TREE AND NOT THE GLASS THAT DAVE BERKETT FRONTED THE MONEY FOR TO HAVE THE KIT RELEASED.( C.R.S DISEASE SET IN!)
  24. Dave Burkett of Model King fame put up the money to retool the glass for the 1959 Imperial pre-Round 2. I'm sure Atlantis wouldn't mind him fronting the money to retool the glass and/or tires for the 62 Revell kit molds ( that Atlantis has). It would be a win-win situation for both companies!!!!! What do you say Model King, how about it???
