  1. My buddy has CRS disease. He told me Lowes instead of Walmart has models. Sorry for any misinformation this has caused to any Tennessee modelers. Previous post is now deleted. Very sorry!
  2. The"Home Made Hell" Falcon is still around. It was at Back to the Bricks, car show, in Flint, Michigan this summer!

  4. Ok Ztony8, thanks for the update!
  5. I just heard on the radio today that the USA- Michigan is opening the boarders to Canada and Mexico for travel again! Hopefully before November 14th for our Canadian friends!
  6. IT WAS A GOOD SHOW! found 3 holy grails 68 ford Galaxie-AMT, 68 Coronet MPC and 62 Buick wagon-AMT. small show , small venders, lots of selection and not of lot of people walking around. NEXT YEAR GO TO THE ROSSFORD, OHIO SHOW HEARD THAT WAS GOOD.
  7. Yes afx, that's how he greeted new members when they signed up," Welcome to our plastic playground!" RIP-Ramsfin59.( Rich Manson).Enjoy Heaven!
  8. Highland, Michigan is a northwest suburb of Windsor ,Ontario, Canada .That Does count, EH?
  9. Mike Stiles, sorry about the loss of your wife! She is now interceding for you in Heaven! You are in my prayers!
  10. NOBLING, I just searched the Campbell's truck on Google images . Cab is not a stubnose like the one you want. Sorry for the mis-information!
  11. NOBLING, i believe that cab is done as a Diecast 1/25, or 1/24 stake truck. I have a Campbell's soup version that Ertl did, when they were doing diecast collectables in the 1990's.Try to see if you can find a damaged one w/ a good cab, then you can use that for the truck build or cast the cab in resin. You have worked with mixed medium before (stryrene, resin, & metal) with great results! (Willy's jeep) .Good luck in your search!
  12. 1st picture looks like a mud bogger jeep ! The Michigan Mudders ORV group would drive something like that outhere, but w/o the c- cab roof!
  13. Ace Garage guy, yes you are correct. I bought 2 of each engine and frame from Model cave and didn't look at it that close! Thanks for keeping me on my toes(Monday morning brain fog after vacation)! You should know, You have all of them!
  14. Reegs, the Gofer dragster frame is the old Revell. The 427 engine is the old Aurora parts pack acquired when Revell/Monogram bought the Aurora tooling.
  15. The "Cal Drag Combo" sold out in my area! IF you want one buy it now! Local hobby shop ordered 22 and sold them all! More coming in Sept? Old Nostalgia sells well!
  16. Thank you dave ambrose and all other moderators! take your bows now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  17. The 1/25th 1967 and 1968 original Amt Mustang fastback kit parts interchange. These were retooled into kits from the promo molds. The 1968 AMT Mustang kit became the AMT 1968 Shelby Gt500 kit. This 1968 Shelby is still out in some Michaels and Hobby Lobby stores. This is the kit for Restoring pieces-Glass etc. Look on the bottom of this kit to see if it has the paRTS YOU NEED! Just no stock side lovers or stock bumpers The 1990's issue ( the one out now!)of the 1967 Mustang and Shelby GT 350 Mustang ( molded in white and black plastic)were new completely tooled molds. They had better chassis detail > The bodies were copied down from a Wen-Mac (1/10 or 1/12) battery operated Ford Promo Large scale!( this explains the removable trunk and the separate /different interior pieces). The chassis was copied down from the Revell 1/12 scale 1965 ford mustang GT/ Shelby GT350.So the question is ,are you going to build it as a original kit or a superdetailed kit- bash better than original?
  18. If our Canadian modeling friends cannot attend due to our Governor still closing the border , that's ok! More models for the U.S. modelers to buy!( JUST KIDDING) LOL. We love our Canadian modeling friends! Eh?
  19. Thank you Casey!
  20. Gtx 6970, I just got an orange cab from a 65? dodge ride-on truck( kids car) ,Union 76 promo from the 1960's . It looks to be 1/12 or 1/10 scale. could be reduced to 1/25th or 1/24th . Anybody know who I can send it to to get a Dodge Cab made for the ramp truck? Moebius-Pegasis, Dave Burkett at ModelKing or Dave Van, Tim Boyd are you listening? let me know by PM. I know one is being made in 1/18th scale also, that cab could be reduced down to1/24th or 1/25th, also!
  21. I live near the Gm proving grounds in Milford, Mi. The colors from Maisto are the same colors the C8 test cars with the manufacturer plate running around here minus the black stripes. The other 2 engineering test cars I have seen are red and orange. Those colors are really noticeable on the road! A cop could spot you a mile away and not lose you in traffic if you are speeding !
  22. I have the thunder charger by T&T ,it's a nicely done resin, It has the Thunder Charger decals in it too. It is in a box similar to this one!
  23. Wow, your out of your comfort zone! Wow! I would think about adding dark colored scallops or mild flames to the champegne gold metallic!, just a thought. Don't let me pollute this great work of art though!
  24. misterNNL , amen to that!
