  1. That what I thought! Richmond is 2 hours east of me. Also stop at Great Lakes Hobby on Van Dyke road , just south of M-59, near Utica, Mi. Check the Hobby Lobby's when you are here on business, sometimes they have kits on clearance, too!!!!!!!!Nice haul on the model kits. Now that's what I call mixing business with pleasure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. Faust, did you find the JO-HAN Caddilacs at Ashbrooks in Richmond, Mi??? They had these on the shelf the last time I was there!!!!!!!!!!
  3. Thank you Junkman!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. Revell probably won't do it as a kit!?Since Prestone put the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ up for the real build , how about doing it in die cast 1/25 scale? Prestone are you listening??
  5. just Google Columbo Peugeot MPC fantasy box.
  6. I think that it was done in a 'fantasy' box with a mpc mpc label if I recall about 10 years ago?It was a box printed up by a graphic arts person . It was a shirkwrapped airbox limited edition.Anybody know the artist who did it???
  7. iamsuperdan, good one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. You should have worked at GM Styling with the Corvette team!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nice! I'm a Ford man but I would have bought a real one of these if it were available!!!!

  12. Thanks mike999, I didn't know those were available- now for a Mobil station I would use mobilubration in lower case letters!!!!!

  15. Thank you , Rob Hall just had a brain fart, yes the 4 door sedan has the center post!! On another note let the aftermarket resin casting begin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. Interesting, that Round 2 is doing a Supernatural,1967 Chevy 4 door! Do I see a Police car version , also factory stock version in the future? Coca-Cola? Taxi version 4 door? How about a barn find version??? OR Grampa 's grocery getter version?? Low rider/ urban vehicle? Donk ? If they are spending some bucks on a major re-tool of this kit, then they know they can do a lot of versions of it, to get a return of investment . They are smart. This car is known to a lot of younger people 40 and under. Targeting a younger demographic ?(yes) Now guys go out buy one and make it your version!!!!!!!!!! For those that were saying Round two is only doing reissues, never say never?
  17. put it on fleabay, I mean fee bay, I mean e-bay!!
  18. Robdebie, can you show how you did it?? I have an ultrasonic jewery cleaner that I got at the resale store for this very purpose! maybe I can put the purple pond stuff in there and let the ultrasonic waves do the removal for me!!!!!!!!!!
  19. Jean-Philippe, Excellent idea, beautiful workmanship, and great execution, as always!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Good luck in your next build!!!!
  20. Rick, I love everything but the lettering, go to office max/ office depot and get plastic letters for a pro board( the kind that stick into a board at a funeral home) they push in and are removable. They come in all colors . Get a square, mark a straight line , divide your lettering spacing evenly, sand the attaching half-rounds off the back of the letters and glue them on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! remember the next diorama only gets better from here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. Geno you have a p.m.
