  1. I've already "down sized" my stash quite a bit, but not enough as I really don't get that many models built in a years time. Guess I'm too busy with other things, etc.
  2. I've had cataract surgery on both eyes and I have to wear bifocals, so don't feel bad.
  3. How 'bout the 350 in Revell's '69 Nova SS kit?
  4. They (Revell) WILL make a '57 Ranchero kit as per info I received from the late Bill Lastovich who worked for Revell. Just how soon, I couldn't tell you. I'll bet it'll be here before I finish all the kits I have in my stash, and give you odds on that as well.
  5. I just love dem Mopars, as I owned a '69 Super Bee back-in-the-day.
  6. I've been real lucky so far as I "shoot from the hip" and pick a color and spray it right onto the body. No spoons, no testing, and so far no paint removal and repainting. I'm pretty much happy with the way most all of my paint jobs have turned out as I'm a "rattle can man."
  7. I believe that the Hemi interior had A-100(?) van seats, no rear seat, and pull-up side windows.
  8. Where is your truck being built, as some of the Rams are built in Mexico?
  9. I gassed up today and they were playing Disco music over the loudspeakers, but no TV's. What's next???
  10. I also hate those TV's at the pumps. Why can't I just fuel my vehicle without all that noise???
  11. Glad to hear it as I hear that last years show was a great success and this year should be even better. I'm also glad that I'll be able to be there this year.
  12. Yeah I just saw that also and wonder if I'll be getting one as I already have way to much to build already???
  13. I was in Las Vegas just last year and had a great time. I've been there many times before and I also have some cousins living there as well. I've also visited the Mandalay Bay Hotel to check out their "shark tank." What happened there last week could happen anywhere and at anytime as this isn't the 50's anymore. This is a changing world we live in and not necessarily for the better.
  14. I've used embossing powder on a couple of interiors already and like the results. And yes it has been around for a few years now.
  15. Lookin' good as I need to build mine someday. I'll be using a Corvair engine though.
  16. Wow, you have a lot of fabrication work in your project and it's lookin' really good.
  17. I've been lucky to see Ohio George, SW&C, Big John, and a number of other "big name" gassers on the tracks back-in-the-day.
  18. I have a Hobby Lobby 1/2 mile from me but rarely visit it as I'm tryin' to build more and buy less. I usually support my LHS which is 10 miles away.
  19. Marty, I've delt with Hart's Parts a few times and love his products & service. Go for it.
  20. I LOVE gassers and watched SW&C run back-in-the-day.
  21. I just returned from a 10 day tour of Nova Scotia, and glad to be back home.
  22. Not my only complaint as I just saw a photo of the decal sheet and there are NO pinstripe decals for the body sides. DANG!
  23. Here's the Fireball wheels, caps, and tires on a recent build and I do recommend them. No, I do not get a commission.
  24. I've been usin' this one for years with great results as it was made by Shabo. Shabo has been out of business for a long while, but I don have another somewhere that's brand new and still in the packaging.
  25. Lookin' good as I'm expecting Revell to release their Ranchero kit in the next couple of years.
