  1. That is one sharp looking BMW! Kudos!
  2. Very cool trio of Volvos! They look ready for the track. Great that this all new kit is available and the mods you've done make it even better.
  3. Very cool Z car, Aydin.
  4. Very nice clean Gallardo, Scott.
  5. Intend to be there. Always a great show and a great venue at the Warplane Heritage Museum.
  6. Very nice GTR. Red & gold go so well together. Kudos!
  7. Very cool custom! Well done.
  8. Steve. There were models of all skill levels at Salt Lake when we went in 2017. It was just a great time as instead of the whirlwind of a normal 1 day 6-8 hour model show, you had four days to meet and get to know people. I truly enjoyed the experience. And we drove from Ontario, Canada to get there which is a bit further than North Dakota, I think.
  9. What a fantastic show! Incredible quality builds on the tables. Really love Soeur Clotilde et sa 2CV.
  10. Thanks for the pics, Rex. Such a cool venue for a show and some great models on the tables.
  11. Nice clean build, Jacob. Kudos!
  12. Beautiful work! Look forward to seeing it in person at Ontario shows.
  13. Well, Peter is my name and 31A refers to the 1931 Model A Town Sedan in the garage. 31 also seems to pop up more than once in life as well (like our street number).
  14. Cool! We in the car building community don't realize how big the Gundam thing is. Two years ago the hobby shop I go to regularly didn't have any Gundam. Now they have several shelves full of them. There one shop in Toronto solely dedicated to Gundam. We lament about no young builders but this is where the younger builders are.
  15. Very well done. Does look evil.
  16. Now that's different! Great use of the Surf Rod and the Creature.
  17. Lovely clean build. Makes that Firebird a standout.
  18. Very cool! I really like the Caddy pickups and have a C1 Models transkit in my stash.
  19. Yes, Velocity U.S. is now MotorTrend on Demand and they get a lot more shows than we do up here. Discovery Velocity shows the same stuff over and over and over. Some one who had never watched it checked it out recently and said to me: "all the shows are 3, 4, 5 years old!" Yep! Some Australian Supercars or other racing series would be nice. But would they get advertisers? Even the Nascar races you see the same Pinty's and Toyota commercials repeatedly so who would advertise on non-known (so to speak) racing series?
  20. Very sharp little Mini!
  21. I think it will take much longer than 6 to 10 years, Mike. Think of how many millions of fossil fuel driven cars are on the road right now. They are not all going to be replaced in 6-10 years. There is no doubt that is the way we are going as well as non-self driven cars. Governments are (for some reason) pushing as hard for autonomous cars as they are for electric or alternate fuel source cars. But we are nowhere close to either and again it will take years to get all the fossil fuel, self driven cars off the roads. Maybe in small countries with excellent public transportation for the whole country but that certainly doesn't describe the USA or Canada.
  22. Yes, I've noticed the same thing since last evening. Awhile before it went down, Tom mentioned they were having issues that could affect some use of the board. I'm guessing the issues were bigger than first thought?
  23. Great job on your 24 hour build!
  24. Cool modern interpretation of the 48 Ford!
