  1. Unfortunately the illustration for the 57 Cadillac makes it look like someone stole the driver’s side wheels and tires.
  2. Hello from Ontario. Welcome to the forum.
  3. Revell did produce a Herbie kit way back in the day. Rare to find these days and I don't know how accurate it was.
  4. I guess one of the reasons I'm sceptical is that we just lost Squadron. The way I heard it explained is that they were bought out by an investment company who put their own manager in the place, who didn't know the model hobby industry, didn't really care about and slowly but surely managed to run it into the ground. As long as Tom Lowe is around I have hope but if we hear he has left, I'd be worried. I'm also a little concerned when there is mention in the statement about the collectibles industry. I know this is a large part of Round 2's business but as a model builder when hobby industry or model industry isn't mentioned, I kind of second the uh oh..... Are we going to favour collecting over building? Anyway we shall see. It's quite the big news for our hobby.
  5. Michaels here in Ontario, Canada used to have 40, 45, 50% off coupons on a regular basis. Since the pandemic hit they’ve been only 30% for months now.
  6. Do you mean Morgan Automotive Detail? If so check car aftermarket section. There is a thread there and Kris has responded recently to a question there.
  7. I would probably say yes to most of your list but a big definite YES on the Volvos. I have the BTCC wagon but I would love to get the sedan for a reasonable price and the Turbo Estate as well.
  8. Lots of Volkswageny goodness there. Eagerly anticipating the T2 and T2 Camper. And some cool reissues of other early VW Transporters. Cool!
  9. I received my copy yesterday. Enjoying it so far. Thanks, Gregg, Larry and company.
  10. Thanks, Jerry. Hopefully I’ll be seeing mine in the next week or two.
  11. So, just curious, anyone in Canada get their subscription copy yet?
  12. Actually, I did mention bio hacking and trans humanism. There are already people out there that have implanted chips themselves or have had chips implanted into them for just such a purpose. Watched an hour documentary about this practice recently. To me it's downright scary that people are willing to do this to themselves and many are impatient to be able to do more of this type of thing.
  13. More like we’ll end up looking like the Borg. Check out bio hacking and transhumanism.
  14. Wow! I can't believe the camper is gone already. I was looking forward to that one. But I was waiting for it to make it to this side of the ocean. Hopefully there is only some type of glitch and some more show up soon. Revell and others could take a page from Aoshima and continue to do spot runs of really popular selling kits to keep them in the supply chain until demand really dies down.
  15. Hey Marcos! Welcome to the MCM Forums. You can pick up a lot good info here and enjoy sharing your work in progress as well as completed models. Enjoy!
  16. Have not seen mine yet but stuff like magazines rate low priority these days when it comes to getting things over the border. My wife waited almost 2 months for a magazine she ordered.
  17. Looks good to my eyes (which usually can’t see the faults people mention). Love the silver/red combo.
  18. Believe it or not, there were a number of Town Car and Town Car Delivery vehicles built on the Model A Ford chassis. They are highly prized due to rarity by collectors today.
  19. Welcome to the forum, Jason!
  20. Well, I finally found this book on Amazon.ca. One seller wants $109.53 for it and the other wants $113.95 for it. Suddenly makes the shipping from the USA look good. ?
  21. So going by Jim's original heading: If you could only build one kit for the rest of your life, what would it be? I took it like you're on a deserted island and a container of one kit washes up on shore. What kit would you build. That implied to me you can only work with what's in the box. In that case I don't think I could name any one kit that would do. But as I read the responses, I realized that everyone is thinking of a certain kit with many other kits available to rob parts from (as well as scratch building supplies and resin etc) to build what you want from your one chosen kit. If that is the case for me it would be the Revell Model A roadster and coupe kits but I would also want the older Revelll Model A kits too, Tudor, Woody, Pick-up and if possible the AMT Model A kits. That would keep me busy for a long time.
  22. Yes, I have the same problem, Ken. I keep checking Amazon.ca and no luck yet. Between shipping and currency conversion, it makes it an awfully expensive book to get from across the border.
  23. If you enjoy this check out Iron Trao Garage on YouTube. Matt does these videos as well.
  24. Knowing the quality of C1 models I will be in line for one!
