  1. So if the argument is its unreasonable to expect members to use tags and create meaningful titles why should Dave add a new section titled BIG Boys when there will be people who won't use that section either. Tags are a useful tool to allow virtual groupings that are meaniful.
  2. Creating meaningful titles and utilizing tags is not that difficult. They will definitely enhance the usefulness of the board. Unwillingness to do so is just being lazy.
  3. Exactly. Besides changing the categories is not a trivial task and no matter how it is done there will be different opinions on how it should be implemented. We need to use the tools available to us. Tags and meaningful titles go a long way in making the board more useful.
  4. There is another solution to creating more categories. The forum supports a feature called tags. The current categories are more than adequate. Four tags can be used for a thread. The desired content can be found using them. Also including the scale in the title helps.
  5. I remember a number of discussions of members that felt the large scale section didn't receive the attention it should have. I think merging the large scale section was a good idea.
  6. The reality is that there are mistakes made in code. Those mistakes can be present for years and impact a large number of programs. I recently saw a video that a slot machine player found that a flaw that allowed the machines to pay out more than the machine was suppose to. He found that a sequence of button pushes caused the issue. It was a flaw that existed for a number of years. Let's face it the banks aren't providing on line banking for your convience it's because they can have fewer branches and thus fewer employees.
  7. Impressive work. I'm impressed that it only took a hundred hours to do. Can't image the stress that one mistake would mean starting from square 1.
  8. Glad to see you are back on this stunning project.
  9. Not really a surprise a $40 kit becomes a $100 kit. Nobody going to buy at that price. I wonder if Round 2 is going to make a similar statement.
  10. That fuel is stunning. It's a great joy to follow this amazing project. Each part is truly a model in its own right.
  11. That lenco is absolutely stunning. Making a stand for the engine and lenco is brillent.
  12. What a great project.
  13. Nicely done. Some great projects. Parts box builds are really fun.
  14. What a great project. Great choice on the wheels. The red really looks great.
  15. It's unfortunate that when a post is quoted that the default would be that only text would be quoted. There are really very few cases that the pictures need to be repeated. Repeating only the text would be a sensible way to solve the problem.
  16. interesting. In my opinion the tamiya wins. one of the biggest drawbacks of the Rustoleum is the drying time.
  17. Also what about the members that log in infrequently. Will they be allowed to login?
  18. Sorry guys haven't been working on this. Been having issues with my right shoulder. I'm getting physical therapy to get through it. I'm really looking forward to getting back on this.
  19. Very disappointing that he was allowed a plea deal. He is old enough to know better and should have had the book thrown at him.
  20. Haven't been able to get bench time. Hoping to get some time in the next few days. Will update when I do get some time.
  21. What a monumental tradegy. My thoughts and prayers go out to all impacted by this. I will wait to hear what the NTSB finds from the investigation. I remember a while back when the air show tragedy occurred and everyone was just sure of who was at fault.
