  1. Hi Robert and welcome to the forum. Thanks, I hope I did a decent representation of your dad's car! I didn't have a lot of reference pics, so I just went with what looked period correct.
  2. Scary cool build Walter!
  3. Really cool build Tom! The underhood detail is top notch. Love the simple badass look of these A990's.
  4. Very cool subject Michael. I also just started this same build and pulled the hood from a Grumpy's kit to do the same thing as you (great minds think alike? LOL). I am dreading those pin stripe decals!
  5. Super nice build John! Fantastic job on the striping and that striker orange is a great choice. I love 60's super stockers and you do great work recreating these.
  6. Hi Roger, as I said to you before, it looks great! I know you had a bunch of issues at the end trying to get it ready for Acme, but it is still really cool! Like you, I had a bunch of issues with my Gold Rush build at the end because I wanted it done for a show. You're definitely not alone! Maybe we can be more patient with the next one. LOL. Also, a big shout out to your daughter, the base looks great, especially under the lights at the show! Can't wait to see your next project.
  7. Wow, absolutely awesome Wayne! The decal work still blows my mind. The knowledge and detail you put into your builds is always a joy to see.
  8. Turned out great! Very cool build Scott. Can I ask what you used for the tennis balls on the injector stacks? I was looking to do that for my Gold Rush Dodge, but didn't have anything the right scale.
  9. Coming along nicely Roger!
  10. Simply incredible Wayne!
  11. Another absolutely awesome build Claude! Fantastic craftsmanship and detail!
  12. Super clean build Steve! Love the color and great trim work! Hope you keep building.
  13. Looking awesome Scott! Fantastic job on the engine detail.
  14. Beautiful build Phil! The Tamiya light metallic blue is one of my favorite colors. A great representation of the real car. Super clean street rod.
  15. Looks good TJ! I know what you mean about this kit. I did mine stock in silver with black stripes. I remember struggling with a number of fit issues. From what I recall, getting the body on was a pain.
  16. Always love seeing your builds Wayne! The paint/graphics and details are next level (as always).
  17. Really cool concept and great job on the paint!
  18. Great job refreshing both of these Dennis! They both look like new builds after your upgrades. I love this kit because of all of the options.
  19. Awesome job Jason, looks great! Really like the products from Speed City Resin. Just used some parts from them on my 65 Dodge AWB.
  20. Thanks to everyone that I talked to at the HMCA show on the 7th! I have been out of town for work all week, so late to post. I had a lot of people say they saw the build on here. Appreciate all the feedback. Meeting so many great people and doing well in the contest made all of the work that went into it worth the effort.
  21. Paint looks great Roger! What purple did you use?
  22. Love the AWB Mopar's. That's quick work since that kit just came out recently. Great start to these!
  23. Great looking version of this kit! Super clean build and the yellow/black paint is awesome.
  24. Yeah, the chassis on these can be a pain. I love the early 90's Olds pro stocks. Looking forward to seeing this.
  25. Hi Roger, good to see you back at it! I've had similar problems with the Tamiya white before. Ran into it on my Grumpys Vega. I still use Tamiya spray primers (white, gray, pink) but now use MCW enamels for most of my builds. Not as convienient, but having nice results.
