  1. Lots of work there! Looking good so far.
  2. I took the pics of the models with my cell phone. I will get a better pic this weekend. I have 3-1936 Fords & they all have those wheels. I have no problem letting someone use one to cast them.
  3. Ok, so I just looked & both the gray & black models have the artillery style wheels.
  4. I have a few of the AMT 36 Ford coupe & roadster kits. One is from a 1961 3in1 kit & is molded in gray. The others I have I got off Ebay & one was gray while another was black. Anyone know when they were molded in black?
  5. LOL, Not sure what brand of silver it is,but it is dry. You wouldn't happen to have an original set of instructions online somewhere would you? Like to see what all is missing.
  6. Just got this ugly, but mostly complete ALa Kart builtup off Ebay for cheap.
  7. I just picked up a badly built & painted original kit from Ebay for cheap. These 2 threads will really help with my planned rebuild. Thanks Bill !
  8. Very cool if those both make it back. I have both original kits. My all-time favorites!
  9. Hard to find pics showing the fan & radiator in a Crackerbox online. I did find a link showing a lower mounted fan on a 671. Also found a pic of a GMC V12 in a Crackerbox & it's fan is low too. Hope this helps.https://dieselcranks.com/detroit-diesel-6-71-nat-oem-engine-complete-running-core-c-esn-6a354578.html
  10. Both models are beautiful!
  11. The Lindberg box is a 67-70 Chevy van. As for the Dodge, it is a Phantom 70's Ramburban. I started building it in 1996. Traded it off in 98. Got it back in 2016 in same condition that I had traded it off in.
  12. I got these 4 Fords off Ebay . I am curious about the 36 Roadster & Coupe kits. I know they are from the old AMT 3n1 kit, but I have one that was molded in grey & another in black. Anyone know the timeline on which came out 1st?
  13. Been awhile, but here is my work bench as of today. Been working on my Phantom 64 Chevy Blazer. Didn't get it finished for the "Bring out your dead" completion group build, but I am making progress.
  14. Beautiful!! What yellow paint did you use?
  15. All great builds! Love the weathering you have done.
  16. Beautiful car! Nice work!
  17. Nice looking car. You did wonders with an old kit. Your dad will love it!
  18. Great job on bringing that one back from so many rebuilds! Looks sweet!
  19. Nice detailing on that 454. I just finished one for my 64 Phantom Blazer model I am building & also noticed how tall the throttle body sat.
  20. All very nice builds! Are the rims on the last car from the Orange Crate kit?
  21. I sold an Open Road unbuilt kit years ago for $150.00. I do have another & most parts from the one I built as a kid. I saw that Dodge on Ebay, but hadn't looked at it tonight. Crazy money!! I would be willing to let a resin caster use my parts if they wanted to make them in resin.
  22. Another I found online. Strange it has the smaller diesel exhaust stacks. Trailer says Chrysler on it & picture was on a Mopar site.
  23. I have the original Turbine kit unbuilt. I was always curious as to what the real turbine engine looked like color wise. Hard to find much online. I did find a pic of the real truck though & it says the grill was the same & the upper grill was actually simulated with paint.
  24. Nice job on the 74 Bill. I love those Vettes. I also restored a 74 that my brother had built in 74. Hoping we both get a few more done in 2019.
  25. Beautiful car!! Love what you have done with it!
