  1. Good job , nice to give the life back to an old kit like that!
  2. Almost, I heated the plastic and pulled it over a mold (made of the old roof which had been cut off) but didn't use any vacuum.
  3. Built this over a 5 week period Dec 2019-Jan 2020. It was a challenge build as well, all participants got a Camaro. Only allowed to use engine and wheels from other kits , any other "custom parts" had to scratchbuilt. I used stretched sprue for the chrystal chandalier in the roof and also for the glasses and flask in the mirrored barshelf. The "see through" part of the hood came from a plastic box which had been a container for grapes and the clear roof part was just a plain clear blue sheet of plastic. Pegaus wheels (or is it hoppin hydros maybe???) and inline 6 engine from an old AMT Chevy.
  4. Very nice build, I ove the old 1960-62 Falcons !
  5. Cool Scirocco and it has the right "look and stance" !
  6. Nice Volksrod with a bit of "dare to be different" look...

  13. That red one is lovely Patrick, I dig the roofrack.
  14. WOW !!! My absolute favourite car and You did a marvellous job saving that kit!
  15. Thanks ! I lowered it just like it would've been done in 1:1 scale. I always try to do that with all my builds as I like the realistic look when You look at the chassie!
  16. It's been a while, but last Thursday I finished this build. The main body is a resin piece from german company Scale Production while the front part is from a soft plastic, blow-mold money bank. The roof is a modified part from a Revell (old issue) VW Panel van and the curbside chassie is a Fujimi Porsche 911 and so are the 17" Porsche Cup wheels. I had to scratchbuild the dashboard.
  17. Very nice build and clever use of parts!

    Awesome cart !
  19. This build shows, AGAIN, that a VW can be built into practically anything or everything you like! Well done !
  20. Forgot my Surf Baron....
  21. Tootache (The dentist Showrod)
  22. Le phantôme de guynemer, Citroën B15
  23. Meyers Manx, "Manxteroid"
  24. Maxi HA-HA, also inspired by lesney/matchbox 1/64 scale die-cast
