  1. The word 'like' when used before anything and everything. I'm like annoyed by it .
  2. That's a shame, it was on my must buy list. Good of Round2 to front up about the delay though.

Great job Jonathan, except it's wrong hand drive LOL
  4. No kidding. Here in New Zealand, excise duty amounts to 67.13 cents per litre, equivalent to approximately US$2 per gallon, plus sales tax of 15% on the overall cost.
  5. Nice clean builds, Derrick.
  6. Same here - I like this treatment, you're doing a great job.
  7. Nice work on the section - keep it up
  8. Hi Zen. For the cargo area, I removed the rear parcel shelf and cut some sheet styrene to creat a new rear seat panel. Sheet styrene was also fitted to the floor area. The body came with smooth rear side panels, all that remained was to coat everything with semigloss black. Hope this helps, sorry no pictures were taken, I wasn't expecting this level of interest!
  9. Nice clean build - well done!
  10. That's right Tom, looks like I'll have to finish my build in one session before going back to bed. I'm not going to get up early on Monday as well, just to finish it (I hope)
  11. Thanks Dave. That'll be a 6am Sunday start for me
  12. No it's not, you can just see it at the top of the windscreen in the third photo!
  13. This build combines the Revell 1964 Thunderbolt kit with a Jimmy Flintstone resin body. The teardrop was removed from the bonnet (hood) and replaced with styrene and filler. A parts box 289 engine was fitted, along with an aluminium driveshaft and plastic rod for the exhaust aft of the mufflers. Wheels/tyres by Pegasus, and paint is some old Duplicolor rattlecan.
  14. Looks like a cool project

Nice build Dale, I want to do this one myself, being a Brit. I've built the Schumacher version, and it wasn't too bad. The Audi is the best of the three, it comes pretty close to Tamiya.

Great start Nie, the decals look good.
  17. I'm tempted to join this CBP. I participated in Dr Cranky's weekend build a few years ago, where the purpose was to dig out an old, unfinished build that had ground to a halt for some reason, and complete it over the weekend. I had a ball and the bonus was a Johan Sox & Martin 'Cuda sitting in my display cabinet that had previously been languishing in a box with a messed-up red side panel. One question, at what time does the build start? I'm in New Zealand so I'm way out of synch with you guys in the US.
  18. My first completion this year. Usual Tamiya spraycan finish, TS20 Metallic Green/ Lime Pearl Green, with Racing White/Lime Pearl Green interior, followed by Testor's Dullcote. Basic engine wiring (barely visible ), BMF, aluminium tube propshaft and exhaust tips, lowered suspension with Pegasus wheels/tyres, and Model Car Garage photoetch scripts & badges.
  19. Hi Gregg Glad to hear that your health is improving. When will overseas subscriptions be available again?
  20. Bring on the McLaren, but as it appears to be a December release, it will be 2017 before I get my hands on it down here.
  21. Totally agree with you Skip. Ironic in this instance though, this car must be one of the most symmetrical ever made .
