Show winning material, I'd say! Great WIP and the result... awesome. Love the color choice you made, the wheels, and that engine... Well done!

And since Hot Rod is applicable in many, many ways, this is a big surprise by Griot's Garage. Very subbtle though: https://www.roadandtrack.com/car-shows/sema-show/news/a31418/e30-m3-wagon/ -

Yesterday I saw a hotrod Citroën sedan from the 20's or 30's. Now hotrods aren't very common where I live, let alone a Citroën one... It's body looked to be in very rough shape. To fast for picture, the driver looked very happy! Today, while walking the dog, I saw a beautiful, completely rust colored, 1928 Ford truck. I had no phone on me, unfortunately. -
@Cobraman: nice decals. Where did you find them? Ted's (I think I see Ted's yellow finish flag)?

I love what you're doing here, great project and actually very logical (on a certain level). But those tires! Man, they look like tractor tires to me. Some flatter rolling stock might have saved you from cutting up the arches.

Ferrari Outlaws & Hot Rods
matthijsgrit replied to 89AKurt's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Apparently this car was delivered to Switzerland. Low spoiler because of the then applicable legislation which stated the height between the rear deck and the spoiler must not exceed eight centimeters. Don't know if this is true, but makes for a nice story. I also saw a Swiss version (maybe even this car) with a double deck spoiler to meet regulations. -
