  1. I believe the story goes that the first 427 was red. Because Shelby told Ferrari ( as a jab) “ I can build red ones too “
  2. Looks really great to me. I have built several and this one is fantastic
  3. Not a lot accomplished. Front suspension arms in place. They are fragile, I hope they can hold the weight of the new tires and wheels. Plus I’m hoping to use the brake rotors from a mfh Ferrari. They are white metal and add more weight. Might be too much for this suspension. If so I’ll use the tamiya brake rotors. The molotow experiment on the chrome gets rid of the big seam lines in the suspension arms. They look pretty convincing. Not perfect but will make it less toy like. Once again not built to be like the real thing. Painted the seat tamiya flat red. Had to spice up the super bland interior. And I will paint the rear view mirrors red. They were white on the original car.
  4. Thank you Ken
  5. Well sorry the answer was yes. But for us cost conscious buyers it’s no.
  6. No. Only chrome paint that 2k will work on is Mirra chrome. But the cost is outrageous. I have seen it sprayed and it’s beautiful. The price is around $400 for 4 ounces .
  7. Porsche. I saw this built up by a fellow modeler and it was really nice. The only thing is it does not have an engine. Curb side.
  8. My camera has the wrong time set in it
  9. A F-35b lightning and a 59mm cannon.
  10. Well getting back to the build. Had a fire evacuation order a couple of weeks ago. Just put the house back in order. So I can get back on the Honda. Trying an experiment. Sanded the seam line on the chrome suspension arm. Painted with a brush, molotow chrome on the edge of the part. Got rid of the seam line in the chrome part. Looks convincing enough. The pics are blurry but the seam line is gone.
  11. Is the 350 Chevy a mini block? And the 4 cylinders a micro block? HA!
  12. Nicely built!
  13. Oh boy Pierre, I’m kind of at a stand still on that. They just hang there. Go nowhere. Either I need to make an exhaust manifold or buy a 3d printed part. Unobtainum 3d printed parts has an exhaust for the old tamiya Honda f1 kit. I also was thinking of making my own with solder. But either way the spaghetti exhaust is going to be fun.
  14. Very nice! Great build and great subject.
  15. Very nice!!!
  16. Very nice. Grabber green with a 351 Cleveland! Yes!!!
  17. Beautiful!
  18. My insurance company charges the same on 1985 crx si as on my corvette. Go figure. I guess the si is what they do not like. I tried to insure it as a regular crx but cannot get away with it. The VIN says it all.
  19. Painted a 1967 RA 273 Honda F1 car. Not close to stock. Original color is an ivory white. I painted her pearl white. With the stock decals. I just saw so many ivory white builds I had to change it. Not correct at all but the kit is sooo far off it really doesn’t matter. A friend said give the kit a break , it’s 55 years old. He’s right.
  20. Great job. As soon as I saw “triple black! “ that was enough but with a GTO it moves into greatness.
