  1. This is really progressing nicely. Love all of your details. WTG Steve!!
  2. This is off da hook!! Loving the chassis and engine work. Are you sure you don't have little minions working at your bench? I just don't see how you can build so fast.
  3. Here's a .jpg of the exterior sides. I plan on alclading the exterior with the exception of the blue along the window line. Making the windows will be a challenge since I'd like for them to open. I need some more printing plate. More to follow tomorrow...
  4. Thanks for all of the comments guys. I wondered how this would be received and I'm thankful you all like it. I don't have a problem posting my plans. I drew up top, front and side views of the interior, exterior and frame which I'll be glad to post once I get home from work. They'll either be converted to a .jpg or .pdf as they are currently an .ai file.
  5. Thanks for the comments Jim and Dave. Glad to share with all of you guys as I have learned a ton from everyone and am glad to bring my stuff to the table. Jim - I may need to order some wheels and tires from you as I'm still uncertain about the ones for this build.
  6. Another stunning Teresi build. What a creative approach to a timeless classic body style. I'm all eyes.
  7. Since I've been waiting on some ordered parts for my Fiat build, I wanted to move on to something which is another one of my passions. I've been on the lookout for a vintage travel trailer to do along with a period tow vehicle. I found pictures of a sixteen foot '62 Yellowstone that has enough reference to build and am going to pair it with a '57 Chevy Suburban resin body from Jimmy Flintstone. I'm having a riot working with the wood and am using construction tips from my 1:1 '59 Airstream TradeWind. Here's a few pictures to share with you all. So far, everything has been scratch built. I plan on having pans on the stove, clothing in the closet, suitcases on the bed, etc. It will definately look used but not abused. Stay tuned...
  8. I've really gotten side tracked on this build for the time being and am also waiting on some RB stuff to come in. Oh, I know I could go on to the painting of the body but I've moved on to something completely different. I'll post on a new thread in the On The Workbench section later today.
  9. Those tires and wheels look great. All the little details really make these look fantastic!! What color did you paint the wheels?
  10. Stunning, can't wait to see the finished piece.
  11. Man oh Man, those are sure great looking. Can I put in an order for a set?
  12. Nicely done Jonathan. Looks authentic too as I had to do a double take on the first pic too.

    Sounds really nice but...
  14. That's perfect!! My all time favorite vintage dragster. I just need to build up one of these beauties and can only hope it measures up to yours. Thanks for sharing.
  15. Nope, they been after me for 5 years and I still can't bring myself to do it.
  16. So what happened to the first two? I never finished mine either but sure wish I still had the grill and surround for another upcoming project. I'll be following this one to see how you finish it.
  17. Man oh man!! Those are all great builds Bob. Thanks for posting. When you get the R/M car done, please post the finished build.
  18. Thanks John. Hope you're upcoming birthday is as special as mine was.
  19. Wow!!! Thanks guys. No bench time today, just got a bit of computer time now and although that's in the same place as bench time, its really not the same. I will have some time tomorrow before work though. Working on a new project, something really different. Stay tuned...
  20. You've got a good start going. I also love this kit. I built a midwestern stock car out of the first one I build and the next one will be a gasser. Go figure...
  21. Oh, this is going to be good!! Its great already!! What scale is this? Based on the size of the tools showing in the pictures, it must be fairly big unless your tools are miniatures.
  22. Chris ~ those metal headers are killer. With the way they turned out, I can see why it took you a couple of evenings just to get them aligned and soldered up. Keep up the fantastic work.
  23. Mark - another great build of an early Nascar. Everything about this build looks great and I love the fact you made your own decals too. I really enjoy all of your builds.
  24. Randy - this is incredible!! You have too much time on your hands and more talent and skills than one person should have. Loving this so far. Just super craftsmanship.
