Then Nashville explodes! ?
-
I have always told my friends and relatives not to get me models as gifts. I buy mine at shows and at discounts, and I didn’t want people to pay full retail for kits I might not appreciate. My family asked me what I wanted, what do I need? I couldn’t think of anything. I consider myself to be truly blessed to have everything I need in life! Be thankful!

"Bring Out Your Dead" Completion Build--ROUND 2 Is On!
Tom Geiger replied to Snake45's topic in WIP: Model Cars
Congratulations ? Dan! Glad to see it done. I’ve been working on my Jeepster and it’s been one step forward and two back! Still I hope to be done before the end of the challenge! -
Agreeing with Alan! A great year, I especially like the Duster and Jeep!

Yea I’m just making a mess! Attempted to get the chassis under the Jeepster and it just doesn’t wanna be there! Seems the chassis is warped ever so slightly to one side at the rear. In trying to coax it into place, I broke a leaf spring and the rear came loose.. I could still see previous repairs to the rear, one wheel was sitting a bit further out than the other side too, so I’m preparing a new rear and leaf spring. Then I’ll try again!

Looks good, your rust is convincing. One suggestion since you are still working.. anywhere you can see a brush stroke in the weathering (the big one on the roof for example) sand it away in a circular motion. Avoid brush marks or edges to the color difference. I will dab in my weathering and rust, to avoid any stroke marks since it wouldn’t appear that way in 1:1

Looks great! A club does motivate you, as well as giving you advice and teaching you new techniques.
