  1. Decals for Bumpy’s Trash Co.. see if anyone gets the reference!
  2. When I win the hundred million dollar lottery, me thinks I will tool up and release absolutely correct interiors for all the old Johans… Why? Just so I can chuckle when someone complains on the board that the window crank is a fifth of a millimeter off!
  3. That’s funny! And interesting since that shop looks like it’s been there forever!
  4. Ha Dan! You know the company we keep!
  5. Very cool Roger! Magazine should give author a heads up and make sure they are cool with being featured. Most of us would be, but it would be nice.
  6. Cool! I’d love to do either military vehicle just to see what IPMS has to say about it!
  7. D is for DUMB!
  8. I do agree with Luc as I usually do!
  9. There is a learning curve with Duplicolor colors.. a bit like painting with a fire hose. Bit when you think you put on too much. It shrinks down and settles nicely!
  10. A lot of kits have been done that way over the years.. just look at the Revell Trabants
  11. Can we just call the presentation folksy and leave it at that? This isn’t a big company at all, and the fact that they come off as one of us is cool. It lets you know that we’re getting neat products from real model guys instead of some faceless corporation.
  12. Bingo! Check Ollie’s hardware dept when you go hunting for models. They often have Duplicolor, both primers and colors for $2.99 a can. This is Duplicolor Cherry Red over Duplicolor red primer. No polish or clear coat. Once you master using it you’ll never use Krylon again.
  13. Blossom’s hot little friend?
  14. The owner is a bigger problem! ?.
  15. Yay! Okay… 3… 2… 1 ! Where the heck is Issue #210??? ?
  16. Nice looking model! You may enjoy a recent episode of “Chasing Classic Cars” in which Wayne buys a Baker Electric closed coupe car.
  17. Hey, I remember back when people wondered what Round 2 would do when they ran out of easy to fix tools... Dig deep and make a major investment in the tougher ones! And that's just what they're doing! Californian resto of the old tool is neat. 59 Caddy ambulance surf wagon is creative. He said they are working on a full stock ambulance from it too! 62 Chevy Nova wagon with 2 engines and trailer is nothing to complain about either! And the Garwood garbage truck is super cool! Talk about rewriting history! TV and Movie car that's missing... this should be fun! I cannot fault them. Play on! Let the whining begin!
  18. I'm not a fan of chopping up mint ancient kits. Especially by people who do a poor job of it. There are enough old junkers out there to scratch any itch! As in... I started with this. That's ALL I had. Someone gave me this body. Add in one recent 71 Duster chassis and a bunch of stuff from the parts box and youi have this! No classic models were damaged or destroyed during this project!
  19. Yea, people are idiots. Yesterday someone posted a pix of a 61 Ranchero body with the roof busted off. Some guy posted that he should find a 1960 Ford full size pickup and use that roof!
  20. Mine showed up today in Exton, PA a bit west of Philly! I haven't opened the bag just yet. After dinner treat. We old guys go for simple thrills!
