  1. ...describing practically every model I've ever built. ?
  2. Looking good.
  3. Agreed. Look at period advertisements, and now readily available old commercial videos, and you'll see that these old cars rode higher than we've come to expect. Back then, not all roads were paved, and many cars lived most of their lives on less than perfect graveled roads. AMT did a good job getting the stock stance right, I think your front end drop was completely unnecessary for a stock appearance. Rocker panels were generally parallel to the ground.
  4. Another fun read, regardless of where it's posted. I'm sure the mods will move to correct location. Be aware there seems to be a problem I've never encountered on your linked site that won't let me vote. When I click on my chosen kit, I get a "server error" message. Anyone else getting that?
  5. Very sharp, clean build with excellent paint work. Well done!
  6. Beautiful detail and scratch-building. Well done.
  7. Mission accomplished! Very cool and simple custom. An excellent case of "less is more".
  8. Turned out very nice! Color is beautiful, and your build is clean. Well done.
  9. Love the simplicity and the overall impact you achieved. Well done.
  10. Excellent work and instruction for the rest of us!
  11. Nice engine details. Got any pics of your old ride?
  12. Monogram 1/24 '65 Corvette has a nice (one of the best) stock big block/4speed combos, and there was a street machine version with turbine-style wheels.
  13. Would love to see this one in 1/25. Seems every possible version of dual-headlight models has been made, but not this single-light version.
  14. Gorgeous model; so perfectly detailed. Well done.
  15. Very nice build of a classic kit. Haven't seen one of these for a while, so this is a treat. Well done.
  16. Those look nice, but who is Wylde? Got a link?
  17. Don't care how many of these I see here, I'm always ready to see another one. VERY nice looking model of a beautiful automobile. We really need a proper '66 interior for it now.
  18. I, too, managed to miss this one the first time around. Great job on your build. Most people would be happy to do one so well in 24 DAYS! This kit showcases what Tom Daniel and Monogram understood about model cars - real eye-catching models can be made with a minimum of fuss.
  19. Very tasty color combo!
  20. Love the paint scheme!
  21. That screen detail is a huge step forward!
  22. That turned out SO well. I'm really impressed with how nicely the silver paint flatters the '55 body. Excellent, and worth the wait!
  23. Excellent color choice. Looking good!
  24. Ha! Definitely more than average weathering. My first thoughts were also flood-recovery vehicles. There's almost a post-apocalyptic, archaeological relics groove to some of these. Nicely done, and thanks for sharing.
