  1. That would be an impressive model in 1/24; it is doubly so in 1/32! Well done.
  2. Nice non-red color choice. Well done.
  3. Wicked good looks. Well done.
  4. Nice looking Chevelle. Don't they look just right in blue?!
  5. That is just beautiful. Perfect color choice, it just looks classy! Well done.
  6. Nice. As stated, not the easiest kit to deal with, but built to a good standard looks very presentable, as yours is! Love that blue, but do chrome foil the hood's "V' emblem for realism. (please?!)
  7. That red really makes all that chrome shine! Well done.
  8. Fantastic looking drag car! Perfect colors, stance, the whole enchilada...WELL DONE!
  9. Very nice build of an iconic automobile. Well done.
  10. What a great looking car and model! Love those colors! Well done.
  11. Your builds never disappoint! Another beauty!
  12. Sharp build of a classic kit. Shows just how good humble kits CAN look when care is taken. Well done
  13. Such a fun and informative thread, thanks so much for taking time to post it! I hate getting to the party late, but next time you need a 1/24 big block Chevy, look no further than the old Monogram 1/24 '65 Vette. It has the kind of detail worthy of your building style. I have recommended this engine a few times, as it really is that good, especially the Street Machine version for the added goodies. You can see pics of it I posted in this thread some while back:
  14. Beautiful paint scheme, would make a nice combo for a street machine! Well done.
  15. Very cool review and model, as I have come to expect from Faust! My first impression of the side view of that plane was it sort of looked like a slightly sleeker FW-190, except for the clean fuselage line being disturbed by the engine housing. Thanks for bringing this one to our attention!
  16. MUCH improved!
  17. Loving the concept! This has has the look and feel of the early 60s customs that filled the little pages of magazines of the time. Lots of outrageous styling risks and tons of fun!
  18. Really great looking custom build. I especially like the interior colors against that gorgeous body paint! Tasteful and believable design. Well done. Got to try a can of that color, maybe over a dark blue base to render a grape jelly kind of purple...
  19. +1 on STYNYLREZ. Catchy name, from STYrene, viNYL, and REZin. OK, the "Z" is just someone trying to be kewl! ?
  20. Can you post a picture of that, please? It sounds familiar, and might help jog some memories!
  21. Nostalgia! The Badman was the car that made me fall in love with model cars. I had an uncle that built model cars, and I'd see them on a high shelf out of reach of curious young hands...(Lesson 1: those cars are NOT for playing. They are NOT toys.) Then one day, he hands down to me his latest build, and teaches me how to gently but firmly hold a model without damaging it. I barely heard a word he said because I was in awe of this amazing yellow machine in my hand. I was sure this thing would roar out of my hands in a blast of tire smoke and rocket-like exhaust flame.( I was little, I didn't understand how cars worked!) The strong colors, yellow with red glass, I mean, come on...RED GLASS! The bold racing graphics, the way the front and rear were lifted up, the chrome, it all was sensory overload for my young mind. I would have my own within the next year, and even though this wasn't the first model car I would build, it remains a favorite in my memory. This one, the Quicksilver wagon, and the Paddy Wagon, were just inspirational for me back then. Still love 'em today, warts and all.
  22. Looking sweeeeeet! I always liked the custom grille from this kit, but I swear yours is the only one I've ever seen without huge sink marks in the plastic that just ruins the look!
  23. Agreed, but how would you open the hood on that thing??!!?
  24. Great looking model, and a fun thread to watch unfold. Thanks for posting and congrats on a job well done.
