  1. Very nice body work there; great job smoothing the custom piece to the stock body. I really like your concept on this one. That grille opening/lower pan reminds me SO much of a '58-60 Thunderbird. ( A good thing, squarebirds are cool! )
  2. Coming together beautifully; paint color is particularly handsome on the big body bow tie.
  3. This does so much just right! Beautiful, realistic appearance. Well done!
  4. Loving the progress on this! Makes me want to get back on mine, but I still have a couple of projects moved ahead of it ...
  5. What's not to love about a black '57 with red/black interior?! Nice save.
  6. Going to show us some of those battleships?
  7. So, you're not as good as I thought?!? Seriously, they are a very nice touch.
  8. Very nice! Excellent foil details, especially the Impala scripts. That Tamiya metallic red is such a nice color for the big Chevies.
  9. Very nice that it's held up this long! Looking good...
  10. I spy a Reliant "roll bar" there. Seriously, very cool, sleek design! Looks like they based off an Excelsior saucer, I'm thinking you inverted a TOS saucer? Looking cool either way.
  11. Very sharp. A nice, clean build of a real beauty.
  12. Fun build, cool concept, and I LOVE that red. Well done.
  13. The color really works nicely, and makes for a sharp 'stang. Well done!
  14. Interesting project. What is that roof from... Riviera?
  15. Thanks for that! I had totally forgotten about that site; now I have it bookmarked and will peruse later. You're right, LOTS to see there!
  16. Very cool; love everything about this! Great use of colors, cool and realistic stance, and that engine bay is SWWWEEEEET!
  17. Good start. Can you provide a link to "AST", I don't think I'm familiar...
  18. Looking good! I have a long-term work-in-progress going on one of these, and will enjoy checking in on your progress when I can't work on mine. As for the fit of the front end chrome piece, I think it's suffering from a few too many polishings of the mold, which has added material around the perimeter. That top chrome "eye brow" is a bit thick , and will nestle up much better if you carefully file the tops of the brows down, angling your file ( or sanding stick) just slightly to the rear. On the real car, the front facet of that brow piece is barely a half inch tall, so only roughly one half a millimeter on the model. That will bring the rest upward to meet the hood better. Hope this makes sense.
  19. I was just spitballing ideas for something less common.
  20. What a cool color for a massive Chevy! Love it!
  21. Very cool project, will be following along!
  22. How 'bout '66 GTO wheels with redlines? Had it in my head and just had to picture it...
