  1. Very striking color combo, and that blue has a SERIOUS old-style Metalflake vibe that is too cool! Nice.

    1969 Torino GT

Beautiful job! it looks SOOOOOO good in red. Very nice.
  3. Man, that's a shame! Those are some very crisp looking moldings and should build up to a very nice display piece. You should post a request in the "Wanted" forum section. Best of luck to you on your search for new rims.
  4. Well done! Very sharp.
  5. Correct place for the 2 door SS ( original AMT tooling), but apparently not worth the cost to change the engraving for this release. Looks like you'll be able to handle it! Looking good so far. Here's a nice reference pic of trunk opening shape...
  6. Another informative and fun thread on a subject I'm guessing 99% of us have in our stash. Thanks for restoring this one; it's new to me!
  7. Stunningly attractive build of a truly beautiful bike. VERY well done!
  8. Been thinking about this material, and I think I would use it only as a temporary base; for photographing and such. I would be concerned about such an asphalt-based material having adverse effects on vinyl (or plastic) tires.
  9. I used to think the Corvette Summer car was kinda ugly; just a little TOO much "customizing", but man does it look good in this context!
  10. You stole 'em! Seriously, usually when one finds a group of kits like that you can expect a couple of duds and take the bad with the good, but those are all fine kits! Good for you!
  11. That has to be one of, if not THE rarest Tom Daniel kit ever! What a cool score. The big question; will he build it?
  12. You should post these pics in the "Under Glass - Diorama" section of the forum, so a lot more people will see it! Very nice work; the lights help the laser beam effect especially well. Cool stuff, and I'm looking forward to seeing more work like this! Welcome aboard.
  13. You're going to like it here! Welcome aboard.
  14. I have to admit this 'cause I can't stop snickering about it, but as I was reading your opening post, I thought you were describing your career path after your teens (when a lot of us did indeed give up modeling for other callings), until I came to the squirrel. That brought that train of thought to a screeching halt! For just a minute, I thought you had one VERY interesting life. Welcome to the nut house...
  15. Very nice street machine colors!

One sharp Mopar! Color can do so much for a car, and boy, does that gold flatter that body or what!? Very nicely done.
  17. Just a beautiful car and model. When I think of modern "Cadillac", this is what I imagine. This is one of their most handsome bodies of the latter few decades. (IMHO!) You have done this automobile much justice with this build. Well done.
  18. Heck yeah, PROPER hot rod. Nice work!
  19. Nice work so far, opening the grille is a very nice touch when possible. Looking forward to more!
  20. Hey, that looks pretty nice just polished up like that! I have misplaced the hard tonneau cover for my bed, and need to scratch up another.
  21. I think these are among your better builds! Well done.
  22. This has awakened my inner child/idiot.
  23. This build was a fun ride and a nice change of pace. You've built a model to be proud of; just beautiful. Well done.
