  1. Cool project, and looks to be off to a good start...
  2. Great stuff! There's no wrong order to building these, and I look forward to your first WIP thread. While on the subject of the old and odd, you fellows may appreciate this tidbit: Lindberg (or whoever owns the name now) has re-released some oldies but goodies in 2-packs. What's great about that? Two things: 1...price is very reasonable ( I got the 1/48 Ju-87 Stuka/ Me-262 combo delivered to my door for less than 20 bucks) and 2... The icing on the cake, and totally unexpected, all NEW thorough decal sheet by Cartograph no less! It is absolutely beautiful, and top quality. RECOMMENDED!
  3. Very good thread here. Loving it.
  4. I love watching your work. May I suggest for any convertible, making a file for a separate raised top? It's one thing almost all modelers gripe about convertibles, me included. It's nice to have the option! Keep up the good work.
  5. Looks very authentic for its time period. Well done so far!
  6. Perfectly nice hot rod! Well done.
  7. Really nice save. The color combo is very classy looking. Well done.
  8. Very clean and attractive model. Well done!
  9. A very nice looking model. I need to find one of these, looks like an over-looked gem! Well done.
  10. Nice job! I always dug the funky styling of the Starion, and still do. Well done.
  11. Just a work of art, both the real car and your model! What a spectacular display piece.
  12. Love the golden color on this one! Side view is especially nice.
  13. Very nice work!
  14. Looks at once both old-school and modern. Dig it! Really clean appearance, and the color has really grown on me. Well done!
  15. Fun stuff! Liking the use of the small scale plane for parts. The Harrier jet ( any scale) is another great source of good sci-fi greeblies, especially the rotating nozzles.
  16. Color is a very personal choice. Personally, I've never been a fan of color shift paint on anything, seems more a gimmick than anything. That is just my opinion, nothing more. IF you like color shift, then I think the effect is more effective on the more rounded, high crown shapes of older bodies like your 40. If YOU like it, why not give it a shot?!
  17. That color is particularly nice for a '57! Very sharp.
  18. It really did come out nice, that blue is gorgeous on a '57! Well done.
  19. Another nice clean build. Like the welded hull Sherman, you did it proud!
  20. Looking good! Beautiful shade, looks a bit darker than the molded-in color. I like this color a lot.
  21. Good start. Will be following along, I really like these late 50s Fords.
  22. Beautiful red!
  23. Very nice! Love the realistic appearance, and colors are spot on. Well done.
  24. Love that body style, and your color and wheel choices suit it perfectly. Nice model, well done!
