  1. Yes! Beautiful model, and well photographed.
  2. Looks exactly like a well worn jack! Well done.
  3. +1! Nice scratch-build of one of the more elusive scratch-building subjects. Realistic scale headers are not the easiest to pull off, and you have done it NICELY!
  4. Love the color combo! Well done.
  5. Beautiful work; you are really approaching this professionally, and it should make a fine model! I'll be following...
  6. Engine looks clean, maybe a little TOO clean for a Jeep...?
  7. If the rest of the build shows as much care as that engine, it will be a stunner!
  8. Beautiful dark blue, really suits this body style. I've built both the hardtop and convertible version and found it to be an easy kit to build. Well done!
  9. Beautiful! Paint really laid down nicely, but looks more red than orange on my monitor! Great job!
  10. Get on it!
  11. Looks great! Wood is nicely done; very realistic model.
  12. There is a stock version of the '57 snapper available.
  13. A very tastefully conceived and stylish little rod! That color combo would look good on just about any car. Well done!
  14. Another vote for white, it just looks right with that aqua color.
  15. You may have the lowrider version, which contains a 396. The bone stock convertible has the 409. Here's a sprue shot and some cool informative reading:
  16. A lot of folks were surprised at R/M's choice to put the 409 in the kit because it was so unusual. Many (including me) would have been happier with an equally detailed 327 for a change. Heck, not EVERY car needs to be a big block!
  17. The convertible version of Revell's '65 Impala had the 409 in it. Last year for the 409 in a passenger car, and fairly rare in '65.
  18. Ambitious project, should be fun!
  19. This is going to look SO nice!
  20. A little (or lot!) patience and tenacity paid off, it looks great!!
  21. Try freezing it; give the joint a dip in water, put it in a zip-lock and toss it in the freezer over night, and it may separate easily. Trick works sometimes, sometimes not, depends really on just how well it's glued.
  22. Exactly my reason for using primer, I enjoy modifying and custom work, so a variety of fillers and their unique properties necessitate something to provide a uniform surface for the topcoats. It's all about intent and purpose.
