Just cut yourself a small strip of aluminum foil and wrap around the hose, tack in place with super glue.

Gorgeous build. I've got one on the back burner to do as a replica of one my dad drove way back: Thunderbird dark green metallic with turquoise and white interior. Sorry I ever let that body get away. Your build is about as nice a job as anyone has ever done on that kit, and that ain't easy! Nice, tasteful color, too. Very well done.

Great job. The color is perfect, and the model is a very convincing replica. You attention to details has made the chassis look good as a one-piece can look, and should quiet some of those that poo-poo such a model. This looks really nice. Very well done.

That color looks absolutely perfect for that body style. Your gauge detailing really brings the interior alive. If I may pick a nit (since your build is so nicely detailed), on the rear of the floor pan, you have taken the silver of your gas tank to far, and painted a strip of the trunk floor at the rear. See where the "straps" on the gas tank "attach"? That should be floor pan color. I only mention because this is a beautifully detailed build otherwise, and I really like the realism of the chassis. Well done!
